=THE NEXT ARMADA EVENT ON VASSAL= Wave 3/4 Preview Tournament (SIGN-UPS)

By doobleg, in Star Wars: Armada

Hi Doobleg, are you considering adding any of the NEW new toys to the list of squadrons and upgrades for the next round?

Ciena Ree, Black Squadron etc

Nope. :)

Those who make the Top 8, however, will have access to any cards spoiled by the end of round four, including the NEW new toys. ;)

OFFICIAL T.O. RULING TIME!!!

If you missed the deadline for submitting a new fleet for round three, then you must use the fleet you submitted for the first two rounds.

If you have yet to submit any fleet, then yousa goin' Full Jar Jar!

(this decision was made to ensure fairness during the round - being able to select between two fleets when your opponent's fleet was known could have provided an unfair advantage)

If you missed the deadline, you have until the end the of round three (Thursday August 4th 0001 GMT) to submit a fleet for round four. Players who have already submitted may not make further edits to their fleet.

End of line. :)

Are we allowed to go back to our previous (1/2) round fleet? Not technically an edit but...

If we can I'd consider it.

I asked in a pm and he said no, not if you submitted a fleet for Round 3/4.

I'm subing for gowtah.

Where can I find out who my opponent is - and what list he's playing?

You cannot yet

Because they are hiding at their secret base?

My probe droids and ISB spies will root them out soon enough.

That's right - if you've submitted a fleet for Rounds 3/4, then you're playing that fleet in round four as well. :)

Patience, padawan - all shall be revealed soon... ;)

FYI, I have updated the OP with the following information regarding the top cut:

- After the end of round four, the top eight will have three days in which to create a new fleet (should they so choose) that will be used for the remainder of the competition. As before, these fleets will be posted on a public thread.

- Top eight match-ups will be drawn at random after the deadline for fleet submission. Top four match-ups will similarly be randomized.

The first point was already included in the OP under Fleet Building, but I figured a reminder on the time-frame of the tournament wouldn't hurt. ;)

So, are we going to allow wave 5 commanders and squadrons revealed so far? Or just wave 3/4/Correllian Conflict. This is a Wave 3/4 welcome tournament? I would prefer to stick with wave 3/4/CC but will abide by anything the gamemaster declares. Thoughts?

Great question! :)

We shall be sticking with the Wave 3/4 items that were spoiled for round three. The spoiled cards that are valid for the top 8 fleets can be found on the second post of this thread.
