TIE/sf Fighter dial leak
Not happening at twenty
We're looking at a statline (with title for 3 dice primary) that's very efficient at 21, or what the t65 SHOULD have been
Gold Squadron Pilot (18)
Autoblaster Turret (2)
BTL-A4 Y-Wing (0)
In a round the TIE/sf attacks twice, it only has a 2 dice primary, and it can't attack the target in front of it twice.
Avenger Squadron Pilot is 20 points. 3 fewer shields, but it has boost, evade, 3 defense, and the Interceptors dial.
We all know the T-65 was overpriced by a point to begin with.
Edited by VulfYup, they messed up the Hawk, but that's no reason to mess up other ships.Still unclear if it is for real. Then, according to fluff, the HwK was second only to A-wings and Tie-Interceptors. But see what FFG has done with that dial.i still find its slower speed to be bull since it was flying circles around Poe and even got him flabbergasted by how fast they moved around.
Bunch of high stress moves, yeah, but in the form of kturns, sloops, and talonrolls not standard movements.
Nevermind. FFG's system maybe wanted to push my post count (double post).
Edited by ManagarmrThe guy that "leaked" this on Reddit has now deleted it from Reddit. Seems all around people are saying it was just a hoax.
If he wanted to post it publicly he would have and it doesn't have any real spoilers on it, it's just the other sheet of cardboard. Was the image of actual cardboard? Why not share this second image?
Aha right. And the guy send me whole blister. Pics or didn happen mate.
I really hope this is fake.
Whether or not it was real, it was an alright dial. Not great, not horrible. Kinda makes sense that it would be slower than an fo, what with all the extra equipment/another crew member. Either way, we'll se the sf show up in lists, regardless of dial.
Given the cogs meant to be the faster more powerful ship that dial fails to represent it.
I hope it's fake.

Jumpmaster has a turret... it's still got an immense dial.
Strikes me as a hoax this.
So a bwing dial more or less, these red turns would explain why the wired ept is in the pack...
You can fly it together with something more agile, like a tie bomber...
IT'S FAKE YOU GUYS.
1) He posted a much worse version of the dial on reddit where he got advice about how to make it look better.
2) He forgot to delete the worse version which was still up in his gallery when he first posted the better-looking version here.
3) He got banned from the reddit for posting the fake version and trying to pass it off as real.
Please, STOP talking about it as though it's real.
Because it's not.

Added to this, if the SF had a Sloop or Tallon roll, it would include the reference cards for those ships. It doesn't - there's another reason it isn't true.

Not commenting on the dial itself as I have no theory one way or the other, but ships no longer come with S loop and Tallon Roll reference cards because they are detailed in the TFA Core Set Rulebook. Same with the reference cards for titles and modifications. They're in the basic ruleset now, so the extra cards aren't needed. Look at T70 Expansion and the FO expansion. No reference cards.
While the T-70 and FO didn't have them, the Protectorate Starfighter does have a Tallon Roll reference card, actually.
I think its the Gunboats dial...

Conversely, look at the Protectorate Starfighter, which DOES come with the reference card for the Tallon Roll, in Wave IX. So some ships clearly do still come with those cards.
Who cares? Come september (which probably means november) we get the real one anyway.
As for now, I want Imperial Veterans!
Just looked back at this thread to see whether it was accurate. All he got wrong was the 3 straight, which is green not white.
Wonder if actual leak or just good guess O_O

Could possibly be a playtester, and one of the last things to change was the color of the 3 straight.
Also, after flying this for the first time today, I really don't think the dial is bad at all. Having a white 4 straight, 3 sloop, and 3 turns (even if red) make this thing move a lot better than a B-wing imo.

If there's one thing that would inspire pride and confidence in a TIE Fighter pilot it would be telling them that their top of the line TIE moves better than a B-Wing. Talk about damning with praise.

Considering that was the comparison that players were making, and that I was making a comparison of the dials used to move plastic which just so happens to have the same shape and name as specific ships in the star wars universe, and not making a comparison of the actual ships in said universe, I have no idea what you are talking about.
