I don't know what they've been in previous years, but if I could hijack this topic a little bit I'd like to ask a quick question as well.

Do you have to qualify to go to worlds, or can any chump who can afford tickets go? I can't justify taking time off of work to go to the "local" tournaments, but I could certainly justify it for worlds.

Anyone can go, but you have to make sure you're on the ball about getting a ticket if FFG hasn't set one aside for you.

Last year it was $50 for one event and $20 For each additional.

It was $60 US last year for X-wing. But you do get your monies worth. I bought the card slips, Biggles cards, E.M./Focus tokens. Everything else I won or traded for.
