With the new 4 player skirmish put we've had a lot of fun playing lately. Only question I had was whether or not you keep the 40 point per person rule? Nowhere in the rules does it say not to. 160 points on the board is a lot of figures and a single round takes forever. Just curious. Thanks folks.

The one time I played it we did 40 points per person. Though I don't see any reason you couldn't adjust that number up or down to suit your preferences.

Hoping to play some 4 player action on the 18th. My FLGS is going to have an "I Am Your Father's Day" weekend with X-wing on Sunday and IA on Saturday. I'm planning on putting together four Hoth-themed teams and setting up the four player map for anyone interested in trying out the game.

Yea. I think we will adjust to half that. Just means command cards are going to be used a lot more which should be nice. Thanks everyone.

Maybe you could do 20 pts/ team with 7 command cards...

Played a 4-player team battle last month. Very fun but took forever. I wouldn't mind trying a free-for-all next time

I'd try 30 pts actually, the difference is usually only 1.5-2 activations per 10 pts but man when you get down to 20pts, you lose one deployment and the game is over a lot of times. The 4-player map is actually not that much bigger and both scenarios get you in the thick of it with 1-2 opponents turn 2 so the game should really be over fairly quickly, because firefights and people ganging up on each other.
