There was an ID at the table next to me between two 4-0 players in the 5th round. Both fortressed, neither wanted to attack first so they called it a day.
I'm not sure if you're referring to the same people, but there was one table in the 2nd round where this occurred.
One player was flying Triple Jumpmasters and performed 1-Turns into himself in the corner for 10+ turns straight. The other player was flying Palp Aces and after some initial approaches, decided it was clearly suicide to fly into that so began to self-bump and fortress himself in protest. Draw was offered and he accepted, but clearly did not want to. Ultimately it hurts both players. Because of the brutality of the cut, it means you need to win every single game in order to qualify.
Triple Jump player went 2-3 and dropped. Ace player went 7-1-1 and ended up 30th. Was awful to see, because he was essentially screwed out of being able to make the cut by the Jump player, who clearly didn't care enough to even continue playing the whole day through. Really lame.

Top 32 lists have been prettified by Floof (Jesper):

Maaaaaan that's a lotta scouts and Palp/Aces. Huge respect to the trip aces player and the Corran/Stresshog/TLT player for holding their own against them.
1 point off the top 32. So close, yet so far.
Mind you, there were a hell of a lot of day 2 drops as well, so that probably artificially elevated my final position quite a bit.

Taking 5 Kihraxz fighters to the cusp of the top 32 man, you should be proud of yourself.
I was bored... without the upgrades for the one list for which we only have information about pilots, and not upgrades:
There were more Contracted Scouts (26) than there were different pilots (24 including the scout). There were only 7 generic pilots, and 17 unique ones, of whom 6 had names enclosed by "Quotation marks". Only 4 Scum lists featured ships other than Scouts, only 3 featured no scouts at all, and only two featured no Jumpmasters, and those were both Brobots.
There were at least 4 Scouts without Guidance Chips (22).
The only Rebel lists were 3 Dash/Ghosts, all of whom had Kanan and Hera Syndulla crew respectively, and a single Corran/Y/Y.
There were 9 clones of the Emperor plus the original (Emperor Palpatine, 10). There were 6 Imperial lists without the Emperor of which three were TIE swarms, two were trip aces, and one was RAC/Soontir.
There were however only 3 Darths Vader, all pilots, and all with exactly the same setup (title, ATC, Engine) except for EPT, and all 3 had different EPTs (Adaptability, Juke, VI).
The most commonly used cards were:
Contracted Scout (26)
PTL, Guidance Chips, Deadeye (22)
Autothrusters (20)
Plasma Torpedoes, Extra Munitions (17)
Crack Shot (14)
R4 Agromech, OCR4 (11)
Inquisitor, TIE/v1, OGP, Palp (10)
Everything else (pilots and upgrades) appeared in single figures, and Scouts appeared more than any two other pilots combined, and only marginally less than any three others (Inq, OGP and Black Squad together (28)).
There were 45 ordnance cards. There were 5 turrets, of which 2 were TLTs, and 3 Autoblasters, as well as 3 secondary weapons turrets and a single solitary PWT not mounted on a Jumpmaster, 3 not mounted on Scouts.
The only characters named in the original trilogy to feature were Vader, the Emperor, R2D2 (astro), Han Solo (crew), and Boba Fett (crew). (Dengar, IG88, Zuckuss, Bossk and 4LOM also featured, but weren't named onscreen IIRC, though it is kind of cool that all the ESB bounty hunters were there).
The least commonly used cards which appeared at all with 1 use each were:
"Chopper" (37)
"Zeta Leader" (20)
Bossk (35)
Corran Horn (35)
Rear Admiral Chiraneau (46)
Tel Trevura (30)
Trandoshan Slaver (29)
"Leebo" (2)
"Mangler" Cannon (4)
Anti-Pursuit Lasers (2)
Countermeasures (3)
Electronic Baffle (1)
Feedback Array (2)
Flechette Torpedoes (2)
Han Solo (2)
Intelligence Agent (1)
Munitions Failsafe (1)
Punishing One (12)
R2-D2 (4)
R3-A2 (2)
R5-P8 (3)
Rebel Captive (3)
Tractor Beam (1)
Ysanne Isard (4)
I could probably go on and make a coherent article out of this so I'll stop here for now.
Edited by thespaceinvaderWhat I want is access to the 400+ decklists that were all entered into Tome. We shouldn't be scrabbling around trying to get what people were playing, what was the point of having us register a list if it was never used for anything in the tournament and won't be made available after the fact?
HA! Now I can put faces to forumers! Was great to meet you Rodafowa, and that first game was probably the most nail-biting match I had all weekend. A lot of fun though, any other day though, the Inquisitor would have been toast!
I was happy enough to make it to day two and get a few extra games, it was fun just being there and taking part to be honest!
For those interested, we've also just published the complete swiss standings of the Top 120 players after the rounds finished:

Our game could totally have gone your way for sure. You flew your swarm really bloody well. My green dice definitely showed up when I needed them to.
I believe I was the only person flying a Pre Veterens Defender, so that means I win.

Yeah I bottled it the week before and shelved my store champ list featuring Vess in favou for a mini swarm
Respect for repping the D's
I believe I was the only person flying a Pre Veterens Defender, so that means I win.
Grant Heywood was flying Vessery + Miniswarm. You guys can split the prize money for biggest balls with the bloke who went 6-0 with Four HWK-290s.
Nooooooo
That was my only claim for the weekend, now I have nothing from the weekend except the thumbs up and high five I got off Christian Petersen when he saw my Gunboat T shirt......
Please don't tell me the other Defender made it to day two as well!
Chin up Ashley, you actually managed to pull off Rexler Brath's pilot ability - that's one for the record books!
I was rather upset when I saw someone else took a Scyke. Pretty sure there was only two of us, and I know I was nowhere near the cut.
I believe I was the only person flying a Pre Veterens Defender, so that means I win.
I saw at least two possibly three Vessery/OL/Vader lists I'm afraid.
I was just about to say "shame I didn't know you were there I'd have definitely said hello" THEN REALISED WE BLOODY PLAYED EACH OTHER IN THE FIRST ROUND!
Business about to pick up on Table 61...
This time last week I was 1-1 with high hopes...
...right, when's the next X-Wing tournament, **** it?
Currently trying to crowd source the top 32 lists from Yavin, my current findings are here: Once they've been completed, I'll prettify them and dump them to 186th.org
