Great work. Love Mauler in particular. A couple more closeup shots of Mauler would definitely be welcomed :)

Cheers man, here ya go. He was one of the first squadron markings I did (I kind of winged it... no pun intended!).

Originally just had the two vertical lines at the back, with the aid of some magic tape strips, but if didn't look enough, so I added the "L" shape on.

While Rhymer's ride is slick, It's Mauler that really get's me. Love those horizontal red stripes!

D**n it! Haha! It was late and I totally confused the two! Doh!

Will try and post a couple of shots later. This time of the right freaking TIE!

P.S. The horizontal is Howlrunner, Diagonal is Mauler. i'll post both, hell, why not :D

Alright, lets try this again!

Indeed, now I messed up hah. I meant to say diagonal! They look great! Such nice clean lines. How do you get your lines so clean? Broad line then touch up afterwards?

Alright, lets try this again!

Good job on the TIES....................

BTW I have decided to scratch build again..............I am building what I affectionately call the "beast". I am now about a 1/4 of the way thru the build, but I am not going to tell you what it is :P ............Just to hold your curiosity.

cheers, they were some of the first rougher ones I completed. May start adding markings and insignias to other ties now too.

Awesome, I look forward to seeing the results. I'm thinking about create more stations in time for the corellian campaign myself, just to find the time!

Cheers man, I used small pieces of a magic / scotch tape roll I had lying around, to mask off areas. It worked well, but occasional bleed here and there, the results were much nicer on my A-wings as I was a bit more used to it. Recently upgraded and picked up a Tamiya model tape refill, much less bleed now and working really well on my capital ships as well.

Decided to test marking up some TIEs with the new colour scheme. May well roll it out to other squads. I've always been fond of Maulers diagonal stripe and this also fits in with the stripe markings on the capitals.

Love the bright golden yellow, absolutely smashing on a slightly darker grey tie. Seriously great work, not to mention the incredible Imperial scheme. Big big fan of the unit insignia! Well done, I'm real envious :)

And yeah, that Tamiya masking tape actually makes a pretty big difference over usual masking tape, eh? I found that too.

Thanks Vykes, really appreciate that. Yeah that tape was definitely worth picking up, just picked up some curve tape as well (helped a lot with the assault frigate I just painted).

Some TIE-Interceptors in the new scheme...

Soooo very bright, love it. That's not going to be missed on the table and the light/dark combination just works. Nice clean lines too, so yeah, looks absolutely great! Well done, mate :)
