I need to come up with what the Haarlock heraldry would be for my DH/RT game and was hopping you fine folks might be able to help me brainstorm up some ideas or, perhaps, cite some source material that might hint at what it could be that i might have missed.
So far, all I've figured out is that it will include a sun/sun-burst possibly of a black verity as that symbol and it's relevance seems to play a big part in the Haarlock dynasty stretching back to Solomon. Second would be a skull and cross-bones in the traditional Jolly Rodger style in order to pay tribute to the original Harlock. Finally, perhaps a chalice of some sort tying the line and dynasty strongly to the Calixis Sector, influencing the Calixis' symbol by way of having discovered and shaped it or latter added as a symbol of the dynasties greatest (and final?) achievement. I feel like the number 13 should be worked into it as well for funsies as well as... other things? Also am I missing some prominent symbology associated with the dynasty that others have seen or found?
Finally, what colors would they lay claim to? I can't remember if such was ever mentioned anywhere and, if so, where. I've looked through the likely areas but have found nothing. My knee-jerk reaction for colors is a simple Black (black as the darkest sun that mirrors their heart), Gold (that shines as bright as the greediest eye), and Crimson (as red as a brother's blood splashed across the stars). Unfortunately, it seems like a terribly unoriginal color scheme but Cerulean Blue (as the calmest sky that mirrors their heart) just doesn't seem right...
