Ok, a rough draft of what I'm thinking for mission 1-5.

WARNING: Nothing has been playtested yet, the special rules and rogues etc, are an attempt to balance everything out, but I foresee tweaks and changes etc. The Hero Corvettes themselves will gradually be upgraded to become monstrous, fast killing machines, but this will be balanced out again, but enemy buffs etc. This is all done in aid of create tougher, large point spends into fleets and squadrons with fewer ships (Rather than me having to buy more stuff as the point bracket increases!) :)

Anyway, I'll try and get more thoughts, tweaks and corrections down as I go.

Thoughts, feedback welcome, this is all intended to be played with my friends with a few beers, casual fun, throwing ships at each other, but with a bit of a narrative hook and opportunity to build a unique squadron / hero / Ship/Fleet along the way.

Great looking campaign pack---downloaded the pdf of it for some ideas for my solo campaign. Am learning how to play Armada using just core set to start,and these will be the ships/squadrons used in the first scenario of the campaign (need to paint some fighters up first before play.) As campaign progresses will use ships from expansions for follow on scenarios. Working on system similar to yours for adding/upgrading forces to each sides order of battle.

Awesome man. Hope this helps. I would say definitely play and learn the game proper first and get your core knowledge of the games systems, balance and upgrades.

This is all extra fun I've decided to play around with, my balance may be off etc, but looking forward to playtesting this with my friends soon.
