Unfortunately some regular posters don't have any patterns to there postings. If I think of anymore I'll be sure to post em.

What kind of patterns are you looking for?

When I think of "regular posters" I think about people who offer comments on a wide range of topics which naturally produces a wide range a work which probably makes patterns hard to distinguish. It's certainly not like everyone who posts often is always going to be talking about the same one or two things.

I have a complex and detailed excel spreadsheet by which I assign or remove points for every user's posts based on quality of content.

This made me really wish there was a feature to search users by avatar... Because honestly, I think you're on to something.

I keep track of my friends here, I am sure most of us do this.

Since we are kind of talking with each other, i think its nice to know who we are talking to..

I got confused at first though on this forum cause everyone has the same avatar on normal forums custom avatars help alot in getting to know who's who.

The sole exception for me is Snopes, who uses the same avatar as me There's a weird feeling when i see one of his posts and think it's mine, before looking at the username! Definitely something to be said for choosing a more distinctive avatar.

On other forums I quickly recognise individuals just by using their avatars, but that's not an option here.

There was a thread once where 3 of us with this avatar were rapidly posting back and forth. Really did get kind of funny and confusing. (To be fair, I do think it was in the twilight imperium forum)

That avatar thing is me and Stegocent.... after I stole his avatar. hehe. Thanks for sharing Stegocent.
