Some additional pics taken with Matt's phone, not quite as detailed as they are further away and through glass, but shows some different angles:

Wow, Shadow Caster is gorgeous

Added TIE SF photo. Not as close-up as the others, but we basically know what to expect there. :)

I can just see myself painting the Shadowcaster in a plethora of different military camos: Olive Drab, Navy Grey, Desert digital... *drool*

Anyone else think the arc is oddly too wide and not long enough?

I didn't care for Shadow Caster on Rebels, but having a close-up of it here has made me fall in love with it. Very nice. Overall I'm pleased with the Wave 9 announcement. I'd have been happier without another basic TIE based model. Bravo FFG.

Ok that paint job on the ARC 170 is fantastic.

Not FFG's fault, but I still think the ARC's guns are out of proportion for their wingtip mountings.

May be my first ship mod, just to shorten them down a little.

yeah def needing two arcs now

the guns are hilariously huge but that's part of the fun

may actually need to play team epic again so I can get a trio of them with my trio of Ks. Their wings will eclipse the stars!

Ok that paint job on the ARC 170 is fantastic.

I hope the production run paint jobs are as good !

Pretty sure these are production run. They came fully boxed and packaged to the expo. I'd say production is well in hand at this point.

Those ships look amazing. Although, I have to admit, the Shadow Caster looks like something you would see in Star Trek. Reminds me of the Defiant from Deep Space Nine.

I'm definitely buying multiples of this wave. 2 of each small ship and one Shadow Caster. Maybe 3-4 ARC-170s, depends on how much I like flying them.

Any pics of the back of the TIE?

I really don't like the huge guns on the wingtips of the Arc-170. That's like how a 6 year old would draw a gun on an airplane.

I might take those off and put them under fuselage for better placement. They are just too badly placed to be realistic.

realistic --> tie fighter peripheral vision --> suspension of disbelief

dont get me wrong, the guns are goofy as hell, but realism never stopped anyone in SWs before

Any pics of the back of the TIE?

Hopefully someone takes one today as I'm curious as well.. I did ask about it and was told it "is actually a new sculpt. It has a rear turret and view port. Cogs where the wings join and TIE and more defined engines... ".

It's like a Frisbee that's propelled by lightsabers. And I'm okay with that.

VerY okay with it.

Someone placed the disc of a YT-2400 between the kockpit and engines of a

Y-Wing...

The ARC fighter guns are correct size. My son has the limited run 3.5 inch action figure vehicle...the guns are huge. The SW encyclopaedia also illustrates the guns as very long. Apparently they should be quad cannons!

Shadow Caster... you know sometimes when things are so ugly they are beautiful? It's kinda like that...

Man the ARC looks good.

really want to see the rest of the arc cards so I can safely fantasize about flying at least 3

so far the two named pilots and biggs make for a list I already want to play

Any pics of the back of the TIE?

Now added!

it was a cylon all along

The ARC-170 reminds me of the stuka ju87g-1 tankbuster. With the extra 's-foil' there aren't many other places to mount the cannons.

I also would like to see cards for variants of the ARC (and t-65 while we are at it). A one off pack of cards only, "aging warbirds". Let players mod their ships to match.
