1. While it would have a unique niche in the game (unlike the Tie Avenger), that is a cheap cannon platform, it is a boring ship. If you look at all of the new ships released recently, they all have something unique or interesting about them (aux arcs, efficient titles, new actions, etc). While they could in theory make a title that spices it up a bit, it is still a very straight forward ship.

I'd say it's an imperial Y-wing: slow, sluggish and has lots of options. Sure it'd be boring to fly as all slow ships are. But You could say the same thing about the other slow ships.

Honestly i have not been to a forum where calling someone a crybaby or childish has resulted in a ban, (neither is it racism nor bigotry displayed by anyone). Maybe a thread lock could be the result, but with this thread i would be totally fine if its closed...

It is also not a silly thread because people want the gunboat, which is totally fine, but it IS childish to endlessly go on about it with every expansion that does not contain the gunboat...

I wonder sometimes about FTS Gecko. I've boiled it down to two scenarios:

1. He is creating and operating puppet accounts to build up his gunboat thread.

2. He sits on these forums and searches 'gunboat' constantly to find any mention of it.

In any case his antics are pretty amusing.

Technically the YT1300, Gozanti, Y-wing, Z-95, Hounds tooth and probably more are all prequel era, but they appeared first in OT and EU sources.

The issue is that the prequel movies and the associations thereof hurt the possibility of inclusion for ships like the ARC, Eta-2, Bellyrub and N-1.

This it seems didn't stop FFG afterall.

That's not entirely true. "Backstabber" was named DS-61-3 in Ep4 in the script. Mauler Mithel was named DS-61-2 and in the same movie.

I would actually sleep better at night if I knew that when I awoke I wouldn't be bombarded by inappropriate content in my X-Wing forum. When bigotry is thinly veiled as nerd rage, is it still bigotry? If I call you an idiot for playing PWTs because only babies fly PWTs have I just insulted you or have I just insulted you?

If being called a baby upsets you, maybe the internet is not somewhere you should go. It's not a safe place for you.
