I'm sure this came up, like, 4 years ago or whenever the set came out, but I just got a case of Masks of Nyarlathotep in the mail, and in it was the Nyarlathoteop, The Crawling Chaos card. Is this guy even functional? Is it possible to make a 7-faction team that works in the least? Am I missing something?

I'm gonna try a legacy Brotherhood deck for kicks, but at this point I fully expect it to fail completely. Any advice?

oh yeah i had an great nyarly deck. i used unspeakable resurrection and hungry dark young to get him into play. cthulhu for president and temple of nephra-ka helped too. there are ways to get him into play with out the 7 factions.

I have a lot of roundabouts and side-roads I need to get my head wrapped around. It's quite a leap to jump into this game at this point.

Don't be dissuaded. The amazing round cuts, or what have you, will eventually be divulged by the great players, once they've killed off everyone at tournament with them. HDY Nyarly is perhaps THE classic example.

I'd like to see some deck builds with this too. After opening a box of Masks I was trying to figure out if this was something viable, even if just for fun. If someone has an actual working build please do post it up!

this is the deck i played and it worked very well. as you can see the main idea is turn everything into an avatar and steal it. i could almost always have nyarly out by turn two. dont know if it was just dumb luck or the deck worked, but it almost always happened.
