Well, here comes the funny part:
In Nederlands dat, actually means that.
dat is = that's
It's funny though that you unwittingly use a foreign language word with no regard to your own language. ![]()

Me speaken da goot englaise!
There is a certain... etiquette to using "dat".
Never in my books, seeing as it's an actual word in another (my own) language (and it isn't American English (aka slang))
I too, am strict on proper use of any language.
That said, Dat is used in certain situations, almost always tongue in cheek or for very simple things. Refer to the "Dat ass" meme for an understanding of proper usage.
I've never agreed with Joe's, "DAT GLORY!!!
:D" use of it but... It is distinctly his own. Telling him not to do that is like telling Anakin or Luke not to cry about something.
They're gonna do it.

Saying dat is used in certain context does not make it right ))
I know of the "dat ass"meme stuff, and I hate meme's and and the word meme and all it entails with a vengeance, lol.
And whether they do it or not, I know, that's what kids do ![]()
Just as long as they are aware of the butchering they are doing, I'm half (not really, lol) fine with it.
And in that vein: same goes for the issue of Holland / Netherlands, as long as people know what the difference is between those two, I don't care to much for its misuse ![]()

Just the ignorant Americans ![]()
the shadow caster has ironically been overshadowed by this silliness
Me speaken da goot englaise!
Jup, and your probably a first language user in that regard, lol.
Doesn't help second language users to learn proper "American"/ English unfortunately ![]()

Yea, sorry to the OP about that ![]()

Oh boy thanks, as somebody who is both American and does his level best to use English carefully and make accommodations for those who can't quite, and praise those who strive to do better, I just love this "Americans r dum" rhetoric and constantly being lopped into it.
Yay.

Your welcome ))).
I never singled you out though.
And it doesn't help the constant misspelling a lot in general (not all obviously),
the crappy grammar, the supposed afflicted by dyslexia that seems rampant on the net.
The 90% of people from the US online seem to be afflicted by all of that, on top of that,
there is the internet slang use (in general, even by second language users), a lot of abbreviations,
and then there is deliberate butchering of the languages
.
(At least the second language users of "English" have an excuse, lol)
Yay.
Yeah, non americans have the problem too. You can cut the elitism.
assuming the spoiler image is correct (I vaguely remember the ghost being spoiled with a green 4-foward, but my family has a history of colorblindness and my eyes suck), say hello to yet another PTL carrier (esp since the whole "orientate mobile arc" action is on the bar)
PTL and k4 at a glance. Throw on EU and something fun (feedback? debris cloud?) and you got yourself a ship for 50. Competes with aggressors, but aggressors don't get mobile arcs and feeback at that price
oh man it even evades; didn't notice. PTL for life, esp since debris seems to be an ACTION: drop (fart one out post boost!)
PTL won't let you drop a debris after a boost. PTL only gives you actions from your action bar (which the debris drop presumably won't be added to), so you'd only be ablet o drop then boost, not the other way around.
Experimental Interface, OTOH, WILL let you do so.
Given it looks like the Latts Razzi crew lets you remove a stress token when defending (my guess it so turn eyeballs to evades; a reverse Keyan Farlander), stacking EI on top of PTL may not be a bad option!
edit: actually it looks like it says you can add something, given the rest of the wave, I'm guessing an Eyeball result.
double edit: it actually looks like it says "remove 1 stress token from the attacker". She would have to add something AMAZING for me to remove a stress token from the attacking ship.
You realize the shadowcaster doesn't have a native boost action? With EI you can't boost then drop either, because you can't boost at all
. Only ship that can do it is the IG-2000, which loses autothrusters if you want EI.

I'm not particularly crazy about it either, but given the current state of our country, I have a hard time refuting it.
