Her other option is to try and force the opponent to bump into the front arc, or to pull an Oicunn and bump them herself. If they do, then they take an automatic tractor beam token for a -1 agility and can be boosted/barrel rolled out of contact to give her a shot.On a related note, I've been thinking about Ketsu's pilot ability. People have said her ability is not synergistic with the mobile arc, since the other ship has to be in both the primary and mobile arc. However, if the mobile arc is pointed to either side, there is an additional area of about one ship length where a ship can be in both arcs. Against large base ships this increases the effective range of her ability quite a bit. It'll also be a pain to arc dodgers. An arc dodger on the boundary will be forced to take repositioning actions in order to not be tractor beamed, without tokening up for the inevitable shot. Again, it may be a very rare instance, but the more things your opponent has to think about (or potentially forget) the better.
Edit: Ninja'd! I think it's probably worth it to keep the arc to the side, and treat her ability as a nice bonus. But that'll need to be tested.
Soontir Fel will not enjoy being action-blocked and subjected to -1 agility against four red dice. And if he gets hit, then that's a second tractor beam token on him. He's basically a dead Fel right there.
I like this. I like this a lot.
Also just noticed that the "gyro" upgrade says "3-, 4- or..." Assuming this means the lancer will have a 5-speed (probably a straight if they want to do something different from the ghost).
Odd thought about the Lancer-class Pursuit Craft
Am I correct in thinking that would be the first large ship with a 5-straight? The Ghost has it on a K-turn, but everyone else has topped out at 4.Her other option is to try and force the opponent to bump into the front arc, or to pull an Oicunn and bump them herself. I believe so! This thing is going to go faaaaast! The 3-banks are green too. Only other large ships with those are the Aggressor and an Unhinged Jumpmaster.
assuming the spoiler image is correct (I vaguely remember the ghost being spoiled with a green 4-foward, but my family has a history of colorblindness and my eyes suck), say hello to yet another PTL carrier (esp since the whole "orientate mobile arc" action is on the bar)
PTL and k4 at a glance. Throw on EU and something fun (feedback? debris cloud?) and you got yourself a ship for 50. Competes with aggressors, but aggressors don't get mobile arcs and feeback at that price ![]()
oh man it even evades; didn't notice. PTL for life, esp since debris seems to be an ACTION: drop (fart one out post boost!)

Dang it! As soon as I think I'll finally switch over to Rebels (flying as many ARCs as possible of course) those sweet, sweet scum shenanigans pull me right back in.
If you take this action to move your arc, will you be able to choose any arc? Or will you only be able to shift the arc clockwise or counter clockwise one arc position?
The article specified you could select any arc, not just the adjacent ones.
Edited by Forgottenloreand a pilot can use the rotate arc action to move it to any other quadrant.
This mechanic might work nice with ground based Turrets. pew pew

bonus points for feedback tricks
the PS 7 doens't have to attack the ship in order to trigger his ability
"at the start of the combat phase, you may choose one enemy ship at range 1..."
Shadow Caster title does, ofc, but that's another 3 points
Edited by ficklegreendiceIf it has a 5 forward, together with the illicit SLAM upgrade in the Herores of the Resistance expansion, this thing could cover some ground
!!!
If the turret takes an acton to move, the Damaged Sensor Array crit could potentially be hillarious. You are now stuck shooting to the right for example
!

Does it say it has to be an enemy ship?

PTL won't let you drop a debris after a boost. PTL only gives you actions from your action bar (which the debris drop presumably won't be added to), so you'd only be ablet o drop then boost, not the other way around.

So you can reposition your fellow ship with tractor beam, off the arc or on the arc! Splendid! ![]()
What you guys think about that tractor beam effect that not clear in end turn?
Nope, look at the picture. Lines still go to the corners of the cardboard base, so the side arcs will be 100 degrees while the front/rear are 80 degrees.
Yeah, that's what it looks like to me, too. And since the side arcs are separate firing arcs, this ship marks the introduction of the non 80° firing arc to the Standard game.
Hounds tooth?

Experimental Interface, OTOH, WILL let you do so.
Given it looks like the Latts Razzi crew lets you remove a stress token when defending (my guess it so turn eyeballs to evades; a reverse Keyan Farlander), stacking EI on top of PTL may not be a bad option!
edit: actually it looks like it says you can add something, given the rest of the wave, I'm guessing an Eyeball result.
double edit: it actually looks like it says "remove 1 stress token from the attacker". She would have to add something AMAZING for me to remove a stress token from the attacking ship.
