hell no what gw does irritates me. Absolutely no warning that something major is about to drop and radically change things.

I wouldnt mind if it was strictly adding things like FFG does or minor nerfs such as the cloak nerf. But GW does complete game overhauls with 0 warning, often completely invalidating most of your army even on a casual level.

I have so many models between orks/tau that i will never use again, even though i love those models, purely because they are so bad its auto-lose to bring them unless the dice gods REALLY love you.

This is much like imperial aces, which got lots of hoopla, only to be overshadowed by the following wave.

Gaming companies can't win. Another company I know got big time complaints about missed store dates, whether it was their fault or not. So they started a new policy - don't release any news of future products until they were nearly in stores when delays would be few and small. Great, right?

Well, new complaints fly in at them now because "it's the end of the world" and no new products are being released ever! Tell us something, oh holy line developers! Actually, some of the same people who complained on the forums for that game before were the same that complained about the new policy.

The stores will have the ships when it's time. In the meantime, my wallet recovers from the last wave and I'll be in a better position to celebrate new plastic.

As for your post, good points. I was hoping to use the long delay in releases to let my wallet recover. But, then a few stores had some great sales, and I ended up spending money on duplicates.

i actually have no intentions to get two imp vets. Running 3 defenders doesnt appeal to me and 4 bombers would be more of a lawlsy list not a legit list (which wouldnt need 2 vets anyway, just 1 more normal kit. Nothing in there thats amazing for bombers unless you want a shuttle)

I don't like flying spam lists and I don't have, except TIE L/n, more that four of any ship and most are 2 only. But I like to have enough for Epic play so 4 bombers are a good fit. Now I'll have an extra for a shuttle. That is five in total but that's okay for this ship.

I try to limit ships to four, as I said, so I do have a few extras since Aces came out. I don't keep them or the cards in my kit. I have considered adding one more A-Wing to max out at 5; again for Epic reasons, it seems like a good number. I never, ever thought I'd get this many ships.

I've read a lot of these posts and one thing I don't think was mentioned is FFG trying to move product around to cover some of what was lost in Germany. It's entirely possible that there's only one warehouse for distribution throughout the European Union and they (FFG) is trying to make sure that all their dealers get some product even if it's not the full order. So have some patience and quityourbitchin.

Standard corporate PR: Say nothing unless it's good, or it's a scandal. If you do say something, the bad news will spread fifty times as far as if you'd never mentioned it at all.

That would be higly unlikely as the German distributor distributes in German and is a different distributor than Esdevium, who take care of the UK, and yet another different distributor than Bergsala Enigma who handle the Scandinavian countries and the Netherlands. France, Spain, Italy, Belgium Hungary, Bulgaria, they all have their own distributor. And then there are a smattering of others.

A similar thing happened with Imperial Aces, remember? Everyone Pre-ordered the hell out of it. Orders late by months. Couldn't find it in stores without it flying off the shelf in a matter of minutes.

Lovely. It is a global release, but USA are the primary market for this game so we all have to wait regardless if there is a flood or if the entire local release is waiting in a store.

Patience is a virtue, but frankly I am rather annoyed to check this
