I made that dinner personally so I am a damngood cook. I normally braze (Blacken) the outer meat to seer in the spices, but it is medium-well inside; nice and soft and juicy too.
Hows-Zat?
I mean, it sounds fine if you're an early hominid just figuring out this "fire" thing for the first time. Otherwise it's overcooked by about 10 degrees.

Hah. High school in Florida, college in South Carolina, family holidays in Texas and Georgia.
Steaks should never be frozen. They should be rubbed with salt and pepper, and maybe some garlic powder, cumin, and/or chili powder if you're feeling frisky. Then they go on a very hot grill for about 4 minutes on one side and 3 on the other. Then rest and serve.
Anything else is not only a culinary offense but suspiciously un-American.
