...So Wave XI has zero Rogue One content.
They're not gonna stealth release another whole **** wave are they?
Hey wait a second hold on
I doubt it'll be a whole wave. At most I see them doing 1 Rebel and 1 Imperial ship, sort of a wave 9.5 add-on kind of like the T70 and TIE/fo, which were technically part of Wave 8.
Don't worry, Lego has you covered for the preview of the Rogue One wave. (Bottom three images that is)
If Disney demands a "Force Friday" release... the only product they can get into Target is the core set. I predict 50/50 odds on a Rogue One themed core set, followed by a proper Rogue One "wave" in Q1.
I just can't see a core set. Two TIE Strikers does not equal one U-Wing.
I wouldn't count on a new core set from Rogue One, but I definitely can see the TIE Striker and U-Wing showing up as add-ons to Wave 9. It makes sense for them to do it that way rather than a new core set- we already have a core set that is in the same era as Rogue One (old core) and we have the new core set for all of the Episode 7 onward films.
...So Wave XI has zero Rogue One content.
They're not gonna stealth release another whole **** wave are they?
I hope so.
Given how little was actually in the TFA core that related directly to the movie (big exception being Poe & BB-8), I would be very surprised if Disney/FFG weren't planning on holding the majority of movie-specific content until closer to the release, if not after it. I know they announced the T-70/TIE/fo in September but I don't recall when they were actually released - was it around Thanksgiving?
I just can't see a core set. Two TIE Strikers does not equal one U-Wing.
And you've determined this despite not knowing any of the capabilities of either ship...how exactly?

agreed but hey, nothing with Disney and the SW license would surprise me.
...So Wave XI has zero Rogue One content.

YES!!!
Yes they are... remember this... always; FFG ARE EVIL... Now!
...So Wave XI has zero Rogue One content.
Wait... Wave IX has only just been previewed, we have no idea what is in Wave X and your already worried about Wave XI?
Could be that the wave is due out before the movie.
Then the new stuff comes in the *next* wave.
Yup, this. They'll call it part of wave 9, because it must be out before the movie, which is only a scant few months after the so-far-announced parts of wave 9 are to be available.
So...same thing as the buff of wave 8, with new movie content as it becomes allowable to reveal.
Gods those Rogue One fighters are hideous.

I know one is an extremely agile fighter in atmosphere, and likely out.
I know the other is a troop transport.
You wanna just snack on U-Wings or what?
