All I can mention is Chicagoland proper has a few good options for Armada, but the drive may be too far for you. Dice Dojo in the city itself comes to mind, as does my local joint, Fair Game in Downers Grove.

At the very least I'd join the Armada Chicago Facebook group for news of weekend tournaments and the like.

Thanks! I'd love to make it that far but it's a bit of a haul for a working dad with a busy wife and kids I appreciate the FLGS recommendation... I'll probably join that facebook group just for the connections.
