Get on FB? Lots of folks I know in our local game group just have a shell account set up they use for following the local X-Wing scene and announcements, or news and leaks like this. You only see what you follow, after all, so just stick to X-Wing stuff if you don't want any of the rest of it, and you'll just get the latest X-Wing news fastest that way. You don't have to use it for anything else! (Also: for real, makes it a MILLION times easier for us TOs when setting up an event to post it there, so people can easily indicate going/not going status. Like, for real.)

Is it just me, or does that ARC-170 look like it has a different paintjob than the render of it does? Nose and wings seem...a bit different. Wonder which is going to be closer to the mass produced one - FWIW, I like the look on the retail kit better. I think FFG did a decent job making it look distinct from the Clone Wars version, without going full 'take off all the panels' like the Rebels did for the Y-Wing.

I...almost wish they had. I dunno. Popped off some panels on the engines or something. Make it look a *little* more well-worn.

The Arc is a beautiful ship, great model! I really like the ShadowCaster too but I'm going to have to update the paint on the Fang and move it's wings.

I'd guess that FFG is hoping for sooner than that - if they DO have 'Rogue One' ships (and I think it's been all but confirmed that they do)...they are going to want to release those before/with the new movie, and that's December 16. So...this wave 9 is likely a LOT closer than we normally get previews...

Q3 is Jul-Sep, so September is at the end, not in the middle.

I even checked their fiscal calendar and that runs parallel to the standard calendar year, so Fiscal Q3 is the same as Calendar Q3 in their case.

As for how accurate that is, I have no idea. I'm new to FFG products so don't know their track record on predicting release windows.
