I too have that ability.
Somehow Maul has become to canon what Revan was to Legends as of TOR; that is, a character surviving well past the realm of plausibility due to fan appeal.
Honestly, Maul was a pretty crappy part of a pretty crappy film. There's stuff I like in Phantom Menace, but Darth Maul isn't part of it. He's just a guy that looks kinda scary, utters a couple lines, then promptly gets cut in half.
Since then, though, he's been 100% uphill in my book. Heck, even has an insane, gibbering spider-bot he was more compelling than in Menace. From there he's just gone on to be an engaging character that I was really happy to see pop back up in Rebels.
Read his books, and you'll see him go from cold, calculating Sith Assassin to the boring legless man we see in Episode 1.
His books were great.
(and he would have gotten away with it too, if it wernt for you pesky kids!)
Darthy darthy dooooo!
Oh, haven't you heard? As we know from repeated assurances from multiple forum members, FFG will never do prequel ships because:
Only a matter of time. Already have two "Civil War" canon pilots -- Shara Bey (... Who'll be showing up in the ARC...) and Princess Leia.What happened to this ship?

- They don't have the license;
- Nobody likes or wants the prequel ships;
- The FFG CEO totally ruled it out and
- They will hold their breath and/or rage quit if FFG ever dare to bring in prequel ships.
So I guess it'll never ever happen.
Dude, it just happened.
Pretty sure it'll be "Old Navy" - their marketing just infiltrates everything now.
Old Talonbane. Cobra ain't as good since he got blown up.
Pretty sure it says old canon.
The pilot ability is that he can throw the entire 35 book yuzahn vong series out his ships window at opponents.

When you reveal a green manoeuvre; you may abandon the game and go to a club where people wee on each other. Mmm, Baileys. All creamy and beige...

Do you love me, Howard?
Call me... Old... Bastard. Who knows?
SPOILER BELOW
Maybe we will see Maul in Xwing. He stole a TAP and I would like to have more Inquisitors in the game. Perhaps a future box expansion with an as yet to be seen Imperial ship.

Three of them, in fact. Queen Soruna also flew an N-1 in canon during the GCW era.

If Maul ever gets in the game, it will be as a Scum pilot. He's a villain, but he hates the Emperor with a passion.
Plus, he once headed a coalition of the largest criminal organizations in the galaxy, including the Hutt Cartel and Black Sun. Can't get much scummier than that.

That's not how you spell "Boba Fett."
