As a huge fan of the new (and canon) books and comic books, I was so excited to see Shara Bey (Poe's mom and star of Shattered Empire comic books) and Norra Wexley (Temmin "Snap" Wexley's mom and star of the Aftermath books)!

While I'm not thrilled with the ship they've introduced them with, I'm hoping that this means we will soon get some new Y-wings pilots, as that is where Shara Bey belongs and Norra would fit there as well.

Sill holding out hope for pilot cards for Princess Leia, Ciena Ree, and Thane Kyrell. Anyone else rooting for a new pilot from one of the books or comic books?

Thane is also one of the ARC pilots. Along with Braylen Stramm, who is from a canon short story.

Ciena will be coming to Armada, likely as a commander.

I'm with you that I'm excited to see these characters, but the ship choice feels off. Though it's not like they had an opportunity to give them their proper ships, A, Y, X, and B.

I'm excited to get all of these pilots in the game, I just wish we could get them in the ships that they're associated with - Braylen in a B-Wing, Thane in an X-Wing, Shara in an A-Wing, Norra in a Y.

Now that FFG is spreading its wings a bit in terms of porting pilots from one ship to another, I still hold out some hope that we'll see that someday.

I think seeing the ARC opens the door. Perhaps take the same route... 4 unique pilots and no generics. They are not common and only named pilots have a place in the game.

Leia has her own ship (and crew) in the Bloodline book as well. That's another option. In older (now "Legends") material, she flew a Y-wing. Here's hoping our favorite Disney princess gets her long overdue pilot card soon.

I see the ship as being an upgrade to Amidala's ship. It's faster, sneakier, and (because Leia is not an idealist) can blast its way out of trouble if need be.

Norra in a Y-wing? Let's see....she can spend a TL and get to add a Focus result to her total? So...she could shoot 5 dice Proton Torpedoes! Maybe even not need a Focus to turn that into a crit. Of course, there are a ton of ways to give her free TL or Focus. What about her firing a turret for an extra die? Dorsal Turret at R1 would give her 3 dice and a Focus. That's pretty good. Or....Autoblaster Turrets. Make sure you have a Focus and she will be definitely getting one hit through!

Shara as an A-wing pilot isn't nearly so exciting. She can give her TL to anyone around her. Meh.

Challenge, our planet has 6-7 billion people on it. Go and high 5 a thousand randoms .. chance of a relationship between them??

I agree, that does not sound like the skill of an advanced A-wing pilot. Perhaps it should have been she can treat anyone else's Blue TL token as her own.

It does and will be an interesting Y-wing replacement option for the Rebels. Might even consider using an APT on Nora!
