Why haven't we gotten Mag Pulse weapons yet?
Imperials get another affordable ace!!! Impressive, most impressive!

watch them somehow appear magically in heroes of the resistance
Poe took em all with him when he made his escape with finn ![]()
trust me, AC without anti-green dice tech will leave you wanting
and I ain't just talking v aces. You get any lucky bastard who thinks evading half your damage on every shot with an unmodified Y-wing is okay, and you're in for unfun times
If all you want is a ship that deals a guaranteed two hits a round we already have that and its cheaper and has the evade action, to beat the AC advanced the cog generics need to offer alot more.
Seriously. I wonder if the AC Adv is bad, or if its just... not taken cuz it requires you to really push them as cannon fodder.
Like I know they're "bad" cuz it makes it much easier to target your actual aces, since no one wants to attack a randon generic tie adv with an evade.
Also, they have a hard time hitting aces, but realistically, 2 hits on 3 attacks should actually go through. And you can block with one.

I think they're not bad, just too defensive to be good support for the core imperial aces. They end up being too easy to ignore. If I could ever justify buying the Raider and 2 more TIE/Ad, I would totally run 4 with missiles. You couldn't avoid shooting at them at that point.

I have 4 and I love flying them with Vader. They are excellent ships for 21 points IMO.
More like Accuracy Corrector - since you will shoot out of both arcs, it'll be at different targets, so AC is better than FCSSystem slot is perfect fcs with his pilot ability.
I'm more excited for them to reveal the generic pilots. Honestly stat wise they are pretty similar to defenders.

I'm hoping for 20-22 point generics.

Depending on how they cost Quickdraws ability it's more likely 23-24 for ps3.

For 23 points with their free title, I would take them over a delta with X7. We have to consider that their dial hasn't been released and there are some upgrades that will be designed just for them.
Well tech is a new slot thats only been on the FO ships and probably will remain that way too.
We only have 3 available right now. I imagine in a couple waves we'll have quite a few.
there's the tech upgrade from Heroes of the Resistance (assuming the "Prow Thrusters", if that's even what it is, card isn't also tech)
people been able to parse out that it has something to do with allowing actions before performing a red maneuver or something. Not sure how relevant that'd be on mr Aux Arc over here, though

I figured 23 was most likely to prevent 4 of these with AC.
Has anyone done any Mathwing on the tie/SF? I wonder what the math on two shots will be or if it's really possible to figure it(math isn't my thing). I'm thinking of trying to proxy it just using a tie bomber dial just for kicks since it's the "worst" dial for a tie so far and I expect the SF will have a bit better one.

Well the two shots won't do you much good in a joust, which is what Majorjuggler does his numbers on. I honestly expect it will have a pretty poor jousting value, as it's barely more durable than a bomber, and a lot more expensive. These things are going to die fast.
im fully expecting the tie/sf to have a talon roll. Hes not going to joust, persay, hes going to come at you then dive to the side to get front arc on one ship and rear arc on whoever is trying to outflank.
If he doesnt have a talonroll, its going to be a lot harder to pull any shenangians like that off.

I hope you are correct. Even as a red maneuver it doesn't matter much with AC, as you won't need mods for your red dice.
If its a red maneuver its also a good trigger for QuickBaffle if you want to go that route. Would be technically firing before you perform an action unlike with PTL sadly, but unless you got predicted or he has a turret looking at him, hes not going to be in arc. The few times i see a T70 do a talonroll that thing is **** near always in a really powerful position because i cannot turn to predict that 90% of the time.

I am very much hoping for talon as well. That will make the rear arc much more unpredictable and AC will ensure hits even after a red move.
Actually, i forgot the talonroll is using the front pegs of your ship not a "barrelroll" action persay.
Sloops would be better because you want to be rotated ~90 degrees from your last position. Talon would turn him around which wouldnt hit an outflanker, but would hit someone lagging behind the front ship.
have to admit, im agreeing with the missile mentality.
Slap Expose on him, either give him a TLock from someone else, TL at range3, or use the Long Range Sensors upgrade to TL ahead of time and slam into something with a 5die primary weapon attack at range1 (2base, +1 expose, +1 title, +1 range) that if you try to retaliate on him hes going to do it AGAIN if you dont literally 1shot him (6hp is pretty hard to take out in literally 1 hit, since very few ways to get 6 dice to begin with and youre banking on crit luck). Yeah he'll die the 2nd time someone shoots at him this way, but hes already thrown TEN DICE into somethings face by then. Thats gotta hurt. Would be even more painful if you could sneak a Tractor in there before he fires.
But I don't think you'd pay 30+pts for a missile that says: range any, power 10, reroll eyeballs, your opponent may roll red dice equal to his total ships power +3 instead of green dice. If your opponent gets more 6 hit or crit results cancel this attack.
I think the dial and the tech slot are going to make or break him sadly.
Edited by Rakky WistolI'm am really REALLY hoping that the other unique has the ability to get an evade. Being able to use comm relay on this ship would be nuts. He's an odd duck. To be getting that sweet activation phase shot you actually... Want to be anything but ps9. lol. What a silly duck.
Otherwise you only get those sweet shots on stuff that's ps9 not initiative or higher. Ex Vader and Poe. Whisper. Soontir only maybe.
**** actually he's good vs Soontir: if Soontir is first he can't arc dodge QuickDraw. Though it's likely QuickDraw can't get through soontirs tokens. If he goes after QuickDraw can turn to attack him where he stands and before tokens.
Definitely a weird ship.
I like it.
Also anyone considered putting comm relay and stealth device on him?
Then either PTL or rage plus baffle.
There's always the great thing of simply letting QuickDraw take damage normally and fire normally. Nobody said you had to do the quirk attack.

A backdraft is a smoke explosion. Maybe he will take someone with him when he dies!
