Edit: Due to popular suggestions here and other sites, I have changed blaster turret and added dorsal turret. I also dropped his astromech because it was there for blaster turret. I now need to know what to do with the 4 empty points.

Sorry! didn't realise people were bugged by the link. I personally prefer it.

Looks solid. I've been pondering the use of cloak on Talonbane, will have to try that out.

The only thing I'm not sure about is the blaster turret (I find that's pretty limited) but on the other hand 4 dice turret often offends and you get the free TL. Would a dorsal turret be better? Or just TLT (yawn).

Talonbane benefits from cloak in several ways...the best is when he winds up in a bad spot and needs to cloak to survive.

I imagine it also allows him to swoop into range 1 without needing an engine upgrade. I've been messing around with cloak on guri (and I suppose you could go for the PS9 Xisor). The Stygium is nice but not a patch on AT for the Starviper but I can see it being useful on Talonbane.

I prefer lists in-thread, but don't mind links too much.

I think it looks pretty fun. Three PS9 Scum ships is great, though I suspect other aces may be able to outfly and outshoot you. Plus, you lack the firepower to take out something like a u-boat before it can get a torpedo off.

With 4 pts left, you should really gear Kavil up.

I'd stick with VI/Blaster Turret/R4: it's solid and synergistic. Just gotta watch for blocks.

That Astro is solid anyway, on any build. But Kavil can do with an engine upgrade. Let him arc dodge and keep people out of his arc.

Put Push the limit on TBC. I've tried it, really gives you the extra punch or punch + evasive bonus (TL + Focus). Plus: The turn the cloak breaks you can trigger ptl off that stygium evade action to get an focus that gets carried on into the next round, so you will have 2 focus + evade + TL next turn! Pretty decent I'd say.

So I threw this in the simulator to see how it'd do against Vessery and the f/o leader list. Wiped everything except Zuckuss who WRECKED me because I kept rolling totally blank rolls with 4 defensive dice over and over while he rolled 4 hits when he used his ability.

The computer doesn't use the cloak well, so it's hard to just that, but Kavil and the dorsal turret is harsh against TIEs.

Going to run the list tonight. Will report back how it did.

Well. Didn't get to play the list as I intended.

I'm part of a Thursday night league and our TO pulled some last minute shenanigans. As we're setting up, he tells us to change lists with our opponent. It was a last minute special rule that no one but him and a couple of his friends knew about. Needless to say it really pissed us all off.

So I ended up flying against it. First with a crappy ass Tie Swarm, then with an equally crappy Ghost list.

Both games ended by turn 4-5 out of frustration.

I will fly it again next week, and hope our TO doesn't pull out some equally BS rule.

Next time bring 6 naked hawks as a back-up.

Not a bad idea. That, or a butt load of M3's with no upgrades.

Ran the list last night vs a double pancake list.

First few rounds it did really well stripping all the shields off 2 YT1300's, but suffered in the last part of the match.

Although I like it, it just wasn't able to deal enough damage before I started losing ships.

Against smaller ships I think the list will do great.
