some step question

By edcy, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

1.Can a hero get movement by fatigue at step 1 or 2 ?

2.If a hero is KO , can he change equiped item in step 2 ?

3.Can a hero get movement by fatigue and move during his familiar's activation?

4. Can Tinashi use hero feat when her turn starting before place her track token ? (for place better position )

5.If Knight use Advance, can he move with fatigue to get movement point before resolving Advance during his turn ?

1.Can a hero get movement by fatigue at step 1 or 2 ?

No, a hero can only spend fatigue for MP "during his turn." The term "during his turn" specifically means during Step 3, while taking actions. This is AFTER any "Start of Turn" effects have been resolved and BEFORE any "End of Turn" effects are resolved.

2.If a hero is KO , can he change equiped item in step 2 ?

The rules don't really address how the KO'd status affects Step 2 of a hero's turn, so I guess that's up to you.

Perhaps there has been an errata I'm not aware of, though.

3.Can a hero get movement by fatigue and move during his familiar's activation?

No, a hero can only spend MPs "during his turn." See above. The familiar's activation happens either BEFORE or AFTER the Hero's own activation, there is no overlap.

4. Can Tinashi use hero feat when her turn starting before place her track token ? (for place better position )

I'm not sure exactly which "track token" you're referring to, but again, her heroic feat must be used "during her turn." This would be AFTER any "Start of Turn" effects were finished, so based on how you worded the question, I'm thinking no.

5.If Knight use Advance, can he move with fatigue to get movement point before resolving Advance during his turn ?

You mean, can he spend MPs gained by fatigue to move after defeating the monster that triggers Advance, but before using the extra MP/attack granted by Advance?

That's a good question, I'm not sure. I'd be inclined to say yes, he could spend MPs like that, but only if he had previously spent the fatigue to gain the MPs before attacking the first monster.

There was a ruling related to Pits that said a hero could use MPs gained from fatigue to evade the Pit, but the hero COULD NOT spend fatigue in response to the Pit in order to gain the MP required. I'd say a similar philosophy applies here.

Generally speaking, you are not allowed to interrupt an effect in between the occurrance of it's triggering condition (defeating the first monster) and the resolution of the effect itself (gain a bonus move and attack.) So you could not spend fatigue to gain MPs in between those two things. However, if the hero had previously in his turn spent fatigue to gain MPs which he has not yet used, I'd say those MPs would be available to use at the same time as the bonus move he gains from Advance.

A canny Knight player would be on the lookout for situations where he was fairly certain he could take out on monster, and then spend the fatigue he wanted on MPs before initiating the attack, so he had those MPs when Advance was triggered. Most of the time, a hero doesn't spend fatigue for MPs unless he's going to immediately use the MPs (to conserve fatigue as long as possible), but this is a good illustration of a situation where a hero might choose to spend to fatigue for MPs in advance of actually using those MPs.

May a knocked out hero change his own equipment before performing a stand up action?

Rules as written, this would be possible, yes.

Also, I'm pretty sure the knight cannot spend movement points (MP) between defeating the monster and advancing. The advance movement is neither a move action nor spending of MP, so spending a MP would definitely be an interruption. Advance trigger after the defeat of a monster, which is actually just before the resolution of the attack. Therefore, the MP spending would interrupt the attack, which is prohibited.

The bounty hunter's tracking token must be placed at the beginning of the Bounty hunter's turn. Tinashi's feat is "use during your turn" so I would think that you could do it, since "the beginning of your turn" is definately "your turn"

4. Can Tinashi use hero feat when her turn starting before place her track token ? (for place better position )

If the question is can Tinashi use is Heroic Feat ( http://www.descentinthedark.com/2nd/thaiden-mistpeak/ ) before using the "Chosen Target" class card from Bounty Hunter's class ( https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/media/ffg_content/descent-second-ed/news/manor-of-ravens/preview-2/chosen-target.png )

I think the answer is clearly : no!

Based on the FAQ

Q: When exactly can cards with a timing of “during your turn” be used?

A: Any skill or ability with a timing of “during your turn” can only be

used during the Perform Actions step of a hero’s turn for the heroes and

during the Activate Monsters step of the overlord’s turn for the overlord.

A player cannot use these skills or abilities at the start of his turn or at the

end of his turn.

and on the Hero Turn Summary ( https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/media/ffg_content/descent-second-ed/news/preview-2/Activation-Front.png )

"Chosen Target" must be done on step 1 and Tinashi's Heroic Feat is on step 3 !

You can not move to spot some out of Line Of Sight monster and then Track him.

No, "during your turn" is explicitly separate from "start of turn" or "end of turn." Felin has quoted the relevant FAQ entry.
