Princes of the Sun released!

By FiendishDevil, in 1. AGoT General Discussion

Thank you for the spoilers eloooooooi. The card i´m really most excited about is Alliance. Nevertheless all the other plot reprints are somewhere between okay and good. I alos like the dual house reprints from ITE and the return of CoS Arianne Martell - i hope they didn´t exchange the artwork. ;-)

And yes, i also thought "uuuuh not another Joffrey". I mean he´s an important charachter in the books, but is he really that important to have him in almost every LCG product? I think no.

When was the last time Alliance was legal in the current play environment? I use it all the time in draft, but I simply don't remember having it available in Standard/LCG for a long time.

Alliance was last printed in the I&F set, which means it would have last been Standard Legal just before WED was released - so August 2005?

But it was heavily overshadowed when VED introduced Agendas and the Treaty Agenda. If you stuck to one House and used Treaty, there wasn't much need for Alliance in your plot deck. Interestingly enough, it wasn't really missed in Standard.

Isn´t divisa noble = noble crest ? If so, Arianne isn´t a straight reprint.

Areo Hotah seems to be a ITE reprint.

Also there are Harmen Uller, house dayne knight, Lord Edric´s knight, Orphan of the greenblood, the Viper bannerman, Paramour as reprints.

You're welcome!

And yes, Arianne has a Noble Crest. She's a modified reprint too.

Now you can see the Attachments in the spoiler! Enjoy :P

Brienne of Tarth (B/S) and Ser Jorah Mormont (S/T)?!?! Oh yeah!

Wow, my thoughts exactly. And then there was Arys.... It's going to be a bloodbath with Arys and Varys hitting the table.

Hey look, "Ally" might actually become a somewhat negative trait again....

Thanks a lot eloooooooi .

I dont see Darkstar in Spanish spoiler. Hes out?

Really 2 x each card is in box?

Wow - I used to LOVE Attack from the Sea! I wonder how good it will be now though - it used to be awesome against Street heavy decks. This won't be as much of a factor, given you won't see more than three against you anymore. still - things like LIV and the Brothel can be neagted for a turn. Plus the stats on the Plot are really good.

Yes, 2 copies of each card. In fact there are 2 totally equal decks.

The cards that have been already spoiled by FFG don't appear in the list. Here you can see Darkstar.

The brothel stands before he can use it so it won't matter for that card.

The irony of the Attack from the Sea! seems to counter grejoy alot since they have the most utility holdings.

There are a lot of reducers in the environment, and it could be really useful against the Oasis. Might be an interesting stall to Bay of Ice, too.

I don't see it as very helpful against the Brothel. Around here, it is always kneeling in the Plot phase, anyway. In fact, it's pretty much knelt the entire time it is in play, anyway.

I have the English version of PotS. If anyone needs spoilers, I can provide them after 5pm.

Im waiting for this. Google translator isnt precise.

Something interesting about this set: The three 2008 GenCon Champion cards - Joust (Luke), Melee (Tzumainn) and Overall (Tzumainn) - are in it.

I also would love to see an english spoiler list if anyone has some free time and the set already.

Me three for the english spoiler.
