I'm rather excited for the upcoming Heroes of the Resistance, and in particular the partly readable Illicit that is probably called "Burst of Speed". Do we know if you recieve stress if the chosen SLAMmed maneuver is red? Are there crazy shenanigans possible here with Emon Azzameen, Burst of Speed, and Advanced SLAM? If you don't recieve a stress, he can 4-straight, SLAM 4 K-turn, and advance SLAM a bomb 3 straight backwards. That would place a bomb 15 base lengths away from his starting placement, and if I am doing my math right would be only avoidable by a small ship going speed 1.

If you do receive the stress, would adrenaline rush work on a SLAM manuver? (I know Emon doesn't have an EPT, but the other Firesprays could still drop a normal distance bomb). I don't believe any K-wings have an EPT slot, either.

I would assume you can SLAM a red, it would give you stress, and ASLAM wouldn't work if you did. Adrenaline Rush wouldn't work because there's no 'reveal your manoeuvre' step for the SLAM manoeuvre.

It's also worth noting that the unavoidable round 1 bomb is already a thing:

Activate Leia. Ghost 5ks, deploys Phantom with 4k (both white because Leia), Phantom drops Conner net, two damage, two ion, laugh maniacally.

I do like that option with the Ghost, but the absolute cheapest you can do it is with a Lothal Rebel and Zeb, at 63 points. If it worked with Emon, it would only be 42 plus the illicit, leaving a lot more room in your list to capitalize on it.

I guess you can do three straight, three hard slam, three hard bomb drop, but it just isn't the same.

Using the revised rules for assigning and clearing stress after maneuvers, you would get a stress when performing a red maneuver via SLAM. Previous to the release of the TFA Core set, a red SLAM would not have caused stress.

The "check for stress" step is now part of executing a maneuver, previously it was separate and occurred at a specific time in the activation phase.

It seems Leia was quite future proofed herself. .

The "Chopper" crew upgrade will let you SLAM on a red if you damage yourself.

Hmm, now to trick someone with a "0 stop" on a large ship: pull a K-turn, use "Chopper" to SLAM the same K-turn... SURPRISE!
