Kind of OT, but I would pay for a full expansion just to get Mara Jade.
I'd prefer to see FFG release a large campaign book that used the variety of tiles from the different expansions so that the tiles are used more than just in the expansion they come from. It would be even better if they could find a way to tie in X-wing as well.
That's what I was thinking ![]()
It must be done!!
My favorite map tile locations would be:
1 Nal Hutta - Narshada Streets, Hutt taverns
2 Ilum- Crystal caves
3 Coruscant - Streets, Jedi temple, Lower levels like 1313
What time are the early time periods in the game - will Aldaraan still exist for example?
Speaking of which, did the Empire ever get around to blowing up Dantooine?

One would expect Aldaraan to be undestroyed during time periods 1 and 2.
Dantooine was never destroyed. It actually appeared in several (now) Legends stories, IIRC.

No, Aldaraan could probably be in the game. Judging by time periods, ANH takes place between time periods 2 and 3. This is why Luke joins in time period 3. So we could hypothetically get a Bail Organa figure pack, set on Aldaraan provided it was limited to time periods 1 and 2.

It was definitely in KotoR, I wasn't sure if it was in anything set post New Hope. I thought the Empire might have gone and blown it up later, but I suppose they didn't have time - their next target after Aldaraan was Yavin 4, and the second Death Star never left the Endor system did it?

Cool. I was thinking there might be some stylistic crossover between Naboo, Aldaraan and Dantooine and existing tiles from Bespin, generic outdoors (and Hoth perhaps, for Aldaraan's mountains?).

Sorry, misread your post there, FSD. I thought you were saying ANH takes place during 1 and 2.
Imagine a period 1 or 2 campaign where the final mission is taking place on Alderaan moments before the Death Star is about to fire...
Rebel loss would mean the death of the characters and a failed... (rescue perhaps?) mission.
Rebel win would mean the planet still blows up, but they rescue some important ally or something...
The tension would be amazing...
With a round timer, and announcements of a "strange moon" moving into orbit.
Then the realization it's a battle station, and sensing the power build up.
The only issue is how would there be Imperial or Scum forces on Alderaan if its about to blow up?

Hired Guns. Lots and lots of Hired Guns.

I don't think Tarkin would give two hoots about blowing up his own men.
Tarkin's a School of the 70 Habits of the Maximally Effective Mercenary:
4. Close air support covereth a multitude of sins.
20. If you're not willing to shell your own position, you're not willing to win.
34. If you’re leaving scorch-marks, you need a bigger gun.
37. There is no 'overkill.' There is only 'open fire' and 'I need to reload.'
