The Galactic Civil War is coming to a close this weekend, with just a few more battles to be fought. There's been some speculation about a new event starting soon, so if anyone has plans to organise something here a chance to step up!
(I can't run the next as I will be flying to Europe but would love to participate).
Tournaments, leagues, campaigns, teams, individual, national world cup team matches, round robins, 500 pts megabattles, wave 3 spoiled cards - it's all possible

Do think something wave 3 / wave 4 inclusive would be fun but if we want wave 4, then that implies we wait for a few more weeks until more beans are spilled.
I think all of the TOs so far have played. It's not a big deal on vassal

I think I would like to see a Wave 3 Welcome Wagon tournament.
Perhaps with 4-5 Swiss rounds (the Swiss is much better at 4+ games) and a final cut (of 2, 4, 8 players?).
As a twist we might do 450 points or something?

Wave 3 Welcome Wagon sounds great.
BTW regarding point sizes, since a good amount of players only like to play regulation sized games, if you ever want to do something larger you might as well accept it will exclude some people and commit to it by going a nice chunky 5-600
My stipulation is that I Demand The next Tournament to contain wave 3.

So a regular, 400 pt Wave 3 tourney, with 4-5 rounds Swiss and a cut.
And then maybe a smaller tourney-thing running 600 pt fleets?

Probably not, no. It's only Madine, Vet Gunners and those 2 grav projectors (which can't be used). The rest is speculation. So unless more wave 4 stuff is revealed, we might as well wait.

I think a setup similar to footballs champion's league format in Europe would be good, for an extended tourney.
32 player minimum tourney.
Split into 4 players in a mini league playing "home" & "away" games against each other player in their league. Then top 2 qualify into the knockout phase progressing onto the final.

Can it be a solo event this time? I enjoy teams a lot, but would like a break from captaining this time.
I haven't had time for earlier tournaments because of the timing. I'd love to get into the Welcome Wagon tourney. I think setting up league play might be a great idea too.
