So I've been musing on a different sort of Ackbar list. I've played against the conga line and ugh, boy do i hate it. I understand its use and how it works, but I'm not a fan of it. So I'm trying to make something that allows me to close the distance yet also fires out of both side arcs at a time. I don't want to circle the toilet bowl, I'd rather be a knife in the gut.

With a 5 point bid I can do pretty well against most lists that aren't crazy teching for going first (I'm not beating a 17 point bid, come on). Which then let's me dictate whether they're playing MY objectives or if I need to go first to kill them earlier.
The Nebulon exists for 2 reasons. First, it's a solid trailer that will let me finish off what I need finished off. Second, it has mc80 angled side arcs (seriously, overlap one on the other, see the identicalness!). Yes, it's going to explode FAST, but I can hopefully get some double arcs in before it does.
Why a cr90b? I've used them with rieekan, and I just got rocked in a local tournament with 4 of them under him. It's just 2-3 guaranteed damage a side. With a concentrate fire order and an Ackbar side arc, that's a minimum 3 damage and an accuracy from Home One. And that assumes my other red dice turns up blank. It's an up close fighting style, but we'll see.
The mc30 is in there because I love mc30s. Again, with ackbar and rerolls, I can get one accuracy (your brace) and the rest of the damage bores into your hull. I'd love to fit assault proton torpedoes in there, but then I lose the bid.
As for why Home One? I love it's ability, and it's gonna be hurting flotillas soon. Engine techs because I want to side arc you and get outta your imperial front arcs.
All that being said: internet, show me what you got! Thoughts, criticisms, problems with the approach, etc? I want your opinions, and if this works I'll post game write ups and thoughts as I test it out. It's NOT going to be easy, but I love a challenge, haha!
