Custom Card League: VOTE on custom ships now!

Welcome to the first round of voting in the Custom Card League!

This vote is for the custom ships that will be implemented in the vassal extension that will be the final product of the CCL. The top four ships from this vote will be implemented in the vassal extension, after a second-round vote in which modified versions of the four selected ships will be accepted as submissions and subsequently voted on.
Text-only submissions, if they advance to the next round of voting, will have cards made for them by myself if necessary.
You are of course free to make your vote in whatever way you please, but I suggest you vote based on these criteria, in the following order:
1: Flavor- does the ship add something new to the X-wing miniatures game, in terms of the star wars universe and game mechanics and stats faithful to the source ship?
2: In-game balance: Does the ship seem balanced? Keep in mind that there will be an opportunity to modify the four ships that advance to the next round of voting.
Each ship submission includes generic pilot and dial images submitted with the ships, and any design notes provided (sometimes informally). I sometimes include information I think is necessary to understand the submission, but this is relatively rare.
Enjoy and tell your friends about the vote and the league! The more votes we get, the better. Voting ends midnight (11:59pm EST) June 5.

Could really do with a box to justify decisions. The gunboat for example I like in every respect save for the cannon slot, which looks like it'd make the ship glued to HLC.

For those ships, I went with the lack of dial being too much to submit; bringing the TIE/SF in was a bit generous to be honest, which I justify by assuming the dial is very similar to the TIE/FO. The dial is really a vital part of the ship submission and without it I consider the entries incomplete, unfortunately.

-you may be happy to know that the Assault Gunboat is doing nicely in the voting at the moment, though.

I thought the dial and other stuff could be resolved later, with the feedback of the community (wasn't very inspired for those ships). Now I see I didn't read very well the OP. [insert facepalm here]

About the Gunboat, nice!! I put a lot of effort love on that. ;)

Voted. Overall about 50/50 up or down. A few really knocked it out of the park. A lot seemed to have pricing issues (over and under). And some just had upgrade or dial choices I just didn't agree with. Thanks everyone for the entries, it was fun to vote.

Same. There where a few that I couldn't get behind thematically, but for the most part I was the same.

Which were your submissions? If they are pilot cards for ships that exist already, they will be in the next round of voting. This is round 1 of 4 votes.

You submitted a bunch of Y-wings, right? They'll definitely be in the next round of voting, for pilots and upgrades, in about 2 weeks.

Basically, yes.

The exact scoring scheme I was planning to use was:

"The score of each individual card will be: ((upvote - downvote)/total votes)"

I'm open to suggestions on improving that, but I think it basically measures the enthusiasm vs dislike for any given card.

Three had been changed from Dislike to No opinion, one had been changed from Dislike to Like.

And these aren't changes I've made, and I don't use No opinion at all, so I'm going to have another look the last day of voting to see if my answers changed again.

That's weird. Let me know if you see another change. I'll keep an eye on the votes and try to look for irregularities

Edit: I had one that was different - ironically enough it was the aforementioned Assault Gunboat (had no response at all when I went back through)
