Imperial fleet for a new player

Hi all,

I started reading this forum at the beginning of the year, the same time I started to play armada, now finally I write in this marvelous forum. I cannot play as much I want so I need improve my fleet

I want to play squadrons because I love them. I have to list

The first one:

The idea is if I loose Dengar still can move my bombers, but maybe is redundant.

The second one change Chirineau and Corruptor for Fligh controllers x2 and another Veteran captain.

I only have 2 Flight Controllers that's the reason the second one don't have a third one.

Feel free to improve my list or the objetive I choose.

I like the second list the most. Chiraneau is a little pricy as a backup.

Howlrunner is only adding dice to 2 of your fighters. If you like her abilities adding 4 tie Interceptors with Howlrunner and Dengar can be devastating but you would need to strip out the Tie advanced or eat into the bombers to do it. You could drop Dengar but it relies on killing the enemy fighters with this combo to clear the skies to let the bombers function. Fine against small fighter builds but even Jan + 3X-Wings can cause you problems on the vital turns.

I think I would drop one flight controllers for the Corruptor upgrade and then change Howlrunner for Sontir Fel which will work nice with your 2 Escorts. If you are short of activations swapping 2 bombers for a firespray can be nice and the Corrupter title gives them their speed back up to 4.

I kept Chiri but because I changed advanced for interceptor to "improve" Howlrunner in the case I loose Dengar still have Chiri to move my bombers,

I put APT for give a little more punch
