German distributor hit by flooding......

There could be a lot of people getting great prices on "salvage" X-Wing. All the cardboard and card stock are sealed in plastic bags so should be safe. I don't know if the outer shrink wrap is water tight but the plastic ships wouldn't be affected.

More bad news. A flood is this kind of disaster which is hard to predict, especially during the global warming making all weather a 'tad' more erratic.
As long as people are not hurt the rest can be saved or rebuild.

more on the subject itself: last week my FLGS told me that "the bears" (our distributor over here) already had the imp.vets in stock and were just waiting to get the okay to send them out..
if that's so, it's really, really "hrmpf"; the imp.vets is all I cared for in x-wing since their announcement.

My ancestors are celts with some Scandinavian no german blood in me.
I don't give a fig about the royals, in fact I oppose them getting tax payers money they are relics that have no relevance anymore.
An I like all self respecting Britons have never waved the union Jack or for that matter any nations flag because we don't need to prove our patriotism.
It is an ancient feud that can not be settled till we soundly beat them at footie again, which will be never at the rate we are going.
You just need to understand we English have ancient feuds with everyone, it passed the time before the television was invented.
Think positive....now the boat can pull right up to the distributor and offload there.
