Imperial Veteran's spotted in Portugal

ok.. new info from the distributor that the FLGS is releasing to the clients:

"Dear Customers,

due to a technical issue we released and shipped the product “SWX52 - FFG - Star Wars X-Wing: Imperial Veterans Expansion Pack – EN” too early.

If you already received this product please keep it contained until we contact you again (probably at the beginning of next week).
It is not allowed to sell this product yet!"

after a few clarifications

"We received a wrong information.

There is no release date 'til now.

Please do not sell or show the product before you receive further information concerning the release date."

So no imperial veterans until a few weeks... eventually... it will be released.

The local distributor that can be found through the facebook link above, has already posted, in a local X-Wing group, that they have received an email from their european distributor, as follows:

"Dear Customers,

As it is of now, local distributor has taken down all posts related with the expansion, and won't be selling it until further notice from FFG or european distributor.

They are waiting for the official world release. In Poland Veterans are described as "in stock" for something like 10 days already.

We'll see. They've been promising Veterans since January, and keep delaying it.

They announced it in January and as far as I know there have been no delays, just the normal processing stuff. And if you are holding them to some vague "this should be available in Q1" wording somewhere, you must be new here. On Earth.

Either way, if we are expecting them soon, I would guess we will see a strategy article of some kind for Imp Vets soon. They usually do those for each release right?

Let's go take them. We can split them all up half n' half, all's fair and no one gets left out (except the Polish!) and afterwards we will remain friends... right? Right? Hey! I said split evenly!

Amazon.ca is saying June 30 :(

I have to agree with this sentiment. I hope they are available this week here in California. I have a regional here next Saturday and would love to run 3 x Defenders there.

I am not a Rush fan. I prefer heavier stuff. But I respect their body of work and the talent and skill of the band. They are a remarkable institution doing their proggy thing for 40 years now. That you call them terrible makes me question your sanity. Anything you post from here on out will be tainted by this horrible lack of judgement.

Why don't they just release it whenever, but not allow them for big tournaments until a certain date so that people in areas that haven't gotten them yet aren't disadvantaged.
