Magnificent 6 OOC Thread
im getting excited!
do have some play by post questions. i have a 3 once per session talents. what are "sessions" in a play by post? is it just until your next experience drop?
Also I havent used move much as a attack. if im trying to attack someone with it, right now its just throwing a small object at them, i have to roll a combat dis vs dis check. that much i think i understand. i have a talent that lets me take things out of peoples hands. as this isnt an attack would there be a combat check for minions? i would assume nemesis and rivals for the most part would want this opposed dis vs dis.

Uhh, DtDunn? You're playing a Besalisk, right? The picture is a besalisk, and the write up says besalisk... but the sheet says Xexto.
Also, as an Ataru Striker, I'm somewhere between 99 and 103 percent sure you should have Lightsaber as a career skill.
Just saw the SWSheets doesn't have besalisk. What is this, amature hour?

You can manually add species of choice if it isn't on the list.

As for move power it seems to be a Force dice roll (to get pips needed to activate the power)+ a Discipline check vs. The silhouette size as the difficulty. Damage is silhouette x10 (5 damage for silhouette.0).
Many have mentioned making it an opposed check for nemesis opponents.
You have to get both enough force pips to do the move (with the upgrades as needed) and succeed at the Discipline check to hit.
I am sure that others can help clarify further if I got something wrong.

If your Agility is good enough it doesn't always matter. My character will be using a light pistol even though the Ranged Light skill is not a career skill for any of the specializations I have. Granted I also intend to buy the gun that turns into a rifle too soooooo YMMV.
Though I did take Big Game Hunter I'm likely to switch it out later this week when I nab my copy of Savage Spirits.

Yeah the Seeker wasn't one of the ones I was excited about when Force and Destiny first came out. Now that I've seen more of it and designed a character for that career I'm starting to like it more and more. It helps that this games themes fit with that career very well.

My pre-prequel EU/Legends knowledge is not complete, @GMRen when you have time could you also give a general introduction to the current state of the Star Wars galaxy. ie: Major powers and their influence (Republic, Hutts, corporations, etc), prominence/influence/general view of the jedi, major/recent galactic wars. Doesn't have to be extensive, I just need a framework to help get me out of ABY 1 mindset.

If you have not used orokos.com before you may want to go take a gander. Basically you end up putting the number of dice you want to roll, then the letter 'e' (for edge of empire I am guessing) then the first letter of the name of the die (a=ability die, etc), then put a '+' then add additional dice you want.
Example: 2 green +1 yellow+1 force die + 2 set back + 1 difficulty +1 red die

"ABY" stands for "After the Battle of Yavin," which is right after the end of A New Hope. So if you have any CRB, you have the summary there.
