Pretty sure I know how this is going to pan out, but I'll ask anyway... would equipping a ship with Long Range Scanners prevent me from getting the post-attack target lock of a ship that I attack from Fire Control System that is in range 1or 2? Not sure, simply because FCS isn't an action, more of the "assign an X" mechanic.

It would prevent FCS kicking in at range 1 and 2.
