I can remember they had their time back at early waves. What about now? Can they compete with aces and triple jumpmasters? PS3 could possibly break their neck when not in range 1 I guess
Triple Firespray viable?
PS 3 and no post maneuver rolls or boosts.
They are fun, but were never competitive. You'd be better off running one with another large ship, and either go heavy on the upgrades or squeeze a cheap ace in.
They're from an older era of the game, like T-65 X-wings, but do not have the advantage of new astromechs or freebie Integrated Astromech mod.
Agent Kallus is one of the few decent upgrades they can take, but will be less effective against lists with 3+ ships. Engine Upgrade makes them decent, but you are looking at nearly half your list when similar points could be spent on a Decimator or Ghost that puts out much more damage.
I hate to be that guy that says it needs a fix, but unless we see Slave-1 or similar Mandalorian craft show up in the new Rogue Squadron movie, I don't foresee any expansion support.

30 total health behind 2 agility on 3 seperate targets.
The numbers are there, but unlike triple Jumpnasters you have no leeway to add abilities or action economy, and have no movement shenanigans.
It's a tough list, but totally dependant on actions.

I actually just convinced myself to buy a 2nd Jumpmaster, and snagged one off of Amazon that was cheaper than CSI's discounted price, even with the shipping included! I'm a shopping shark!

Thank you for stating the obvious that Potty Patrol is OP. Unless you are in range one or bump them for action denial.

Take 3, give one Slave 1 and long range scanners
You fly one in the middle of the board and two on either end. Let your opponent choose what one they want to focus on. First turn, 1 forward with middle, turn 2 the one who the enemy isn't going for towards the enemy and then 2 hard turn the one the enemy is hunting away from the enemy. Then, next round, go hard away with the near the enemy one and evade, go hard in with the far on one, and bump the evaded one. The one in the middle should bank towards the enemy. You should now now no blind spots. If you continue on this fashion by Kturning the evading Firespray. With 30 health you should stand a beating.
While I would love someone to try and make it work, if we are listing pros and cons of the list vs Uboats, Uboats wins by miles in just about every category...

I'll be sure to tell that to the three tournaments I won with Double/Triple BH variants back in the day. They are underwhelming now, but very viable up through about Wave 4. Nobody complained about them like they do 3 Scouts because it actually took skill to fly them.

It was a lot of firepower to deal with back in the day.
I considered 4 x T65s to be the top end of offensive output. Firesprays pushed out almost as much with double arcs and twice the staying power of a T-65.

Long range sensors will help them have a good alpha but not make them a ton better.
It's a shame -- the Firespray needs a 2-3 point cost reduction. Then three could probably make a viable list, and we'd see singles much more often.

It would be viable now if it where 30pt base... Wiggle room for tacticians, Rec specs, Kallus, slave 1+ LRS... Makes them totally playable... Would they be competitive at 30? Probably not 3 of them but boy would they slot in nicely with 2-3 aces.
My favorite old school list is still Turr's hunting party:

BH+ seismic+ Rec Spec
Backstabber
Night Beast
Updated with thrusters on Turr, LRS on BH, and swap in another tie or an FO to taste and it's still fun. If you know it's a 1-3 ship list then Kallus also shaves a point...

If the scum had a legit cheap firespray that could take advatage of the crew slot I could see a trip working. I don't think imperial or rebel crew have the action multiplication to make it work.

Only a single Firespray-31 can equip Long-Range Scanners. The Slave-1 title is unique.

If I were feeling like doing a list like this, I'd probably put down 3x Slavers with K4 and Boba, Zuck, and 4LOM on each one. Maybe tractor beams instead.

Imperials need new crew, period. The Rebels have three times as many crew as we have, when manpower was one of their greatest weaknesses and the Empires greatest strengths.
