I just bought a Decimator and wanted to know this: If a ship is hit (rammed) by Captain Oicunn after his maneuver, can the target roll defense dice, or is the impact damage of 1 automatically deducted from the target?

No defense dice. Oicunn loves to play bumper cars! You'll have to do some searching but there are builds that allow the good Captain to do more than one damage using the title and other upgrades.

If you're not rolling attack dice there's no way to avoid the damage, this works the same as crits handed out by Vader crew or the damage from feedback array.

He's good fun to use and against certain builds, with his low Pilot Skill can be genuinely devastating. I took Soontir Fel down to 1 HP through bumping and finished him with a (lucky) range 1 shot. Good fun. The only issue is his lack of actions after bumping, so you either want to take Dauntless which allows you to take an action for a stress token, or have upgrades that allow you to modify attack Dice regardless of actions (predator /Gunner etc).

The Decimator is one of my favourite ships, good luck with it!

Best Oicunn for my money is Engine Upgrade/Daredevil/Dauntless/Vader/Gunner. Ram down aces, ram them again, then kill them automatically with Vader once they've moved, no matrer how much they dodge.

Thanks so much for the clarification! We played our first game using the Decimator Saturday night...it was a lot of fun mowing down the Rebels and finally smashing through a Han Solo-piloted Millennium Falcon.
