Alternative Uses for Cumbersome and Unwieldy

I'm working on a "hack" for a fantasy use of the EotE rules. I find working on side projects like this get the imaginative juices spilling out of the box, and today; while reading through weapon qualities; I came quite unexpectedly upon these possible alternative uses for Cumbersome and Unwieldy.

Cumbersome could be used to represent a high gravity environment, and Unwieldy could be used to represent trying to fight in tight quarters such as when caught up in a panicked and stampeding crowd or when tunnel fighting. You'd simply assign a value that might impede some if not all the PCs. For a nasty bit of f@ckery you could combine the two, and even introduce Difficult Terrain (obviously an extreme environment).

What sparked my noodle? I was working on medieval weapon profiles while simultaneously thinking about how I could make a dragon hunt really interesting.

Like... "The Geonosian tunnels you followed the bounty Hunter into have narrowed down substantially. You can continue, but add Unwieldy +2 to all melee weapons."?

Exactly.

Whenever a PC is immobilized I typically use unwieldy or cumbersome to reasonably restrict the player unless they are quite strong or agile. For example a bola, or a net immobilizes someone. You are not going to be able to properly shoot someone if you are restricted from moving like a person trapped in a net. Typically it is unwieldy or cumbersome three. I typically also add one or two setbacks when I do this.
