Just messing around with list and wanted to see what people think of a support Tomax with two tie defenders.

Tomax(24) + tie shuttle + cool hand(1) + fleet officer (3) + Ysanne Isard(4)

Rexler Brath(37) + adaptability(0) +tie/x7(-2)

Maarek Stele(35) + Adaptability(0) + tie/x7(-2)

Tomax is able to hand out focus tokens to both the tie D's and get a focus/evade for himself and once he takes damage he can get 2 evade tokens a turn. I wanted to try to add on TIE mk.2 onto tomax to give him more green but that would mean lowering rexler or maarek. Currently this is a 8/8/9 ps list.

Can drop rexler for Vessery + vi + tie/x7 that way that frees up a point for tomax to have mk2

It seems fun. I like the new systems officer that passes out a free tlock too. I played a match with a Tomax similar to youra but partnered him with crack homing vader and crack homing Inquisitor to see how badly I could cripple an opposing squad. That was before jumps were out there and I don't think it could reasonably handle jumps.

The problem with these kinds of lists vs jump boats is the absolute necessity of 2+ pot shots before any sort of joust situation happens and I do not know if that type of conditional strategy is reasonable or not. It has worked for me with ace builds so far vs jumps... But, I put a lot of that on my opponents play more than strategy.
