Hi everyone,

I'm a new casual player who wants to take advantage of the amazing sale at Cool Stuff Inc. I'd love to hear your suggestions on what I should buy. I've done some research, but it seems most people are making suggestions for more serious players of X-Wing. I just want to have a balanced collection to play with friends and family.

So far it looks like people are consistently suggesting The Force Awakens Core Set and The Original Core Set. I don't understand what the difference is between these two other than the different ships and cards. I saw someone talking about new damage cards, but I don't know what that means for the game itself since I've only played two entry level games using the Original Core Set.

I'm more interested in playing the Rebels, but as I said before, I want both sides to have good options because I'll be playing with friends and family in a casual setting. I'm definitely interested in Slave I and the Millennium Falcon, but would like to have other cool ships that aren't overly complicated. More complex options are fine, I just want to make sure that having fun is the main focus.
