Fountain of Insight rule question

By AndrewMM, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

We're playing this tomorrow, and I just happened to notice this....

There is rule here (in ncounter 2) stating that, every time a monster is defeated, another adjacent monster can inmediately perform a move action or an attack action.

What happens if many monsters are defeated at the same time? Can I trigger that for every monster defeated? What happens if those "other adjacent monsters" are being defeated aswell?

For clarity, some scenarios:

-Monster 'A' is adjacent to 'B' and 'C'. 'A' is defeated. Can I move 'B' and attack with 'C'?

-Monsters 'A', 'B' and 'C' are all adjacente to each other. All are defeated with the same attack. Heroes decide 'A' dies first . Can I move or attack with 'B' or 'C' before they are defeated? If yes , could I perform a third move/attack with the remaining monster right after the second one is defeated?

I hope this can be solved in a few hours!

You only receive 1 bonus action per defeated monster. If A is defeated while adjacent to B and C, you pick only one of them to do 1 action.

If A,B and C are all defeated by the same attack and all adjacent to each other, you could have multiple actions occur based on the order they are dealt damage/defeated based on the active player. If they are in a line for example, ABC and A is defeated, it is just like above. Then, damage is resolved against B and C can do an action. When C dies, nothing happens as B is already removed.

If the line was BAC, though, B or C would get an action, but no actions after B and C die (no remainig adjacent monsters).

Thanks!

We finally played the quest yesterday, and... we totally forgot about the rule in the end... even when the first thing I did when unpacking the game was checking your answer.

But well actually I didn't even needed it. I chose Kobolds as the open group, and they couldn't stop me from winning (closing all the seals) on the first action of turn 2 . With Splig's Spirited Retreat and Kobold's Scamper, I only needed a good spread on turn 1, and heroes could do nothing about blocking spaces (well, they probably could have, but they spent some actions wiping down Goblins and Serena, and then forgot about Scamper)
