well I don't see the beta books there. I think you are OK.
me I was late to the party joining with F&D. Student loans have only caught me so far up. Not picking up non F&D adventures though.

You might be a Star Wars Fanatic, if your biggest purchase yet is an official limited edition replica of the helmet that Wedge Antilles wore in ESB (number 560 out of 750):

if you your beard and hair were completely grey rather than salt and pepper, you'd look a bit like a guy I work with
As long as you appeal it within their window of opportunity, Ebay and PayPal will certainly help get your money back.
Yeah, I need to look into that. I’ve been out of town for a while, so I haven’t had the chance to follow up on that issue, but I will do that this week.
Thanks!

Even though I am now fifty, my dad didn’t go fully silver/grey until he was nearly seventy.
So, I might have a few years left.

Looking pretty good for 50.
I still have a few years, but I'll probably look like this when I hit 50:

Oh, you're THAT OggDude (as if there's more then one)? Okay, you might be obsessed. I think I might edge you out a little, but that's okay! I could use some company in the "unhealthily obsessive fan" camp.
Those were just my books. I have the three beginner games (complete with dilapidated boxes that have been taped together multiple times), adversary cards, nine sets of dice, and I also organize all of the adventures into their own notebooks complete with 5x7 pictures of notable events or NPCs from the adventures, plus 3x5 pictures of any pre-gens and full-sheet print-outs of star systems, maps, or whatever else needs full sheets (these go into plastic sign stands that I put out when running adventures). Also included are all encounters printed out with <ahem> my GM Tools
For my campaign, I also have this huge 4" binder organized by adventure with most of the same stuff I include in my one-off notebooks.
And I brought all of them to the con last weekend
Well, except for the books. They're really heavy, plus I lost my Beyond the Rim book to a con and had to replace it.
Still, Maelora says I'm perfectly normal, so I'll defer to her wisdom ![]()
So, the thing I found out about this helmet is that it makes it hard to see, because the bottom part of the visor that curves back inwards happens to be right about the same height as my eyes, so it seriously distorts your visual perception.somehow that hawaii shirt works really well with that helemet.
It’s also pretty uncomfortable to wear, especially with glasses. Among other things, the bottom of the visor comes in contact with your nose, and that’s hard plastic on skin. And no, the visor doesn’t raise up out of the way (like a real pilot helmet does).
Oddly, although I just bought it yesterday, on the ear muffs inside of the helmet the leather is already starting to crack and peel, like headphones that are several years old. I may take those out.
So, this is much more of a display unit that can technically be put on the head of a real human being. But not something to actually wear on any frequency.
Now I’m kinda glad that the Disney folks wouldn’t let me wear it around the park even though my face wouldn’t really be obscured. That would have been seriously uncomfortable, as opposed to the pain of walking back to the hotel with this surprisingly honking big box in my arms.
Sigh…. I guess I’ll have to see if I can make one that looks much the same (or maybe more like Luke’s helmet), but is more comfortable to wear.
Another vote for the Hawaiian shirt. Hey, if it works for this guy...
Shall I mention my 5x5 storage unit stacked floor to ceiling with comic book longboxes?
Hah! Nerd!
(quietly slides huge box of action figures just arrived from Big Bad Toy Store under the bed)
Nothing to see here. Move along!
On Wednesday, something like 133 or 137 wotc star wars minis is due to arrive from troll and toad. While I have bought more minis in a previous batch, this is the first time that the average cost of a mini in the batch was more than $2. I more than doubled my previous maximum average cost of a mini. I also more than tripled the maximum price i've ever spent for a single mini. Previously I had the opportunity to buy a particular mini (that I had a narrative reason to buy) for $33 and decided that was too rich for my blood, i'd wait for the price to come down because now FFG has the license and people should be selling of their wotc minis collection to buy FFG imperial assault, armada, and x-wing. Instead, the price went up to about $55 and this time I decided to buy it before it went any higher, now this is just a regular character scale mini (of a famous/popular character, and I don't want to spoil the surprise for any of my players who might read this before I reveal the mini at the next session in a month or two), it's not a rancor or at-at. Still haven't decided to pony up the about $30 price for Jabba to represent any hutt in the campaign
