Morrigan-3 vs. weird Tag Along

By Wafflecopter2, in UFS Rules Q & A

Say I'm playing Morrigan-3 and my opponent uses Ichi no Tachi's E and resolves it. He commits something and after it resolves I declare Morrigan's react. I commit 1 foundation for its cost, and resolve it by playing Ichi no Tachi's E "as though it were printed on this character." Can my opponent use Tag Along to negate Morrigan no Tachi and prevent me from copying any more Ichis he plays that turn? If he plays another Ichi and plays its E, can I use Morrigan's R on it too, or does it just fizzle [since I can't play the ability and can't > can]?

Tangentally related question - in a Twelve-1 mirror match, can Twelve use his R: to copy his opponent's Twelve R: and consume its "Once per turn" use? If so, can I copy his Twelve ability to copy my own Form ability? Does it matter if my opponent's Twelve is ready or committed?

1) pay cost with morrigan - they TA - morrigan goes to sleep for the rest of the turn

2) you may copy the opposing 12. you are the one playing the ability, though, so you don't get to lock them out of using it. and it doesn't matter whether the card you copy is ready or committed - only that 12 is ready. remember, YOU are playing the ability with 12 - not with what you are copying.

it only works on forms .

S'ok.. Tag just wanted to show off Morrigan ;)

good, the effect of morrigan, when my opp, play a form or enhance ability, morrigan immediately copy and play the ability copied, so, what happens about increasing damage bonus on an attack?

and morrigan do the play cost. for expample:

my opp play ichi no tachi and after play megalomania to commit one of my foundations. after i play the ability of morrigan committing one of my foundations and fater play the ability comitting my morrigan (by the effect of megalomania) to commit one of my opp's foundation ?

what happens when my opp play ichi no tachi and after play manifest destiny to commit my morrigan. can morrigan do the effect??

No, if Morrigan is committed by the ability that you want to copy (Manifest in this case) then you cannot play her ability because she is already committed (she takes effect AFTER your opponent's effect resolves).
