I will be relocating to the Minneapolis metro area for a new job at the end of June and am looking for places to play X-Wing (and Imperial Assault, Descent, Armada, GoT LCG, and Rebellion).

Obviously I am aware.of the FFG Event Center, but what about other local game shops?

There's a ton of them really.

I'd recommend joining the facebook group Twin Cities X-Wing there's one for Armada as well. What stores you'd want to play at will depend greatly on what side of the metro you're going to be at.

I live outside the Metro but close enough to know what's going on, but I don't know where all these stores are since I play in Lindstrom. But to give you an idea here's a list of events listed on TC X-Wing...

June 4 - Tower Games - Hanger Bay, 10am reg, 11 am start. Team Epic event starting at 7pm

June 26 - Brew Wing - Fulton Brewery - Space is filled

Monday - Your Mom's Basement - open play

Wednesday - FFG - open play

Wednesday - Games By James Burnsville - $10 tournament, 6PM

Thursday - Tower Games - open play

Friday - FNX - Level Up Games - $5 7pm start

Friday - FNX - Tower Games Minneapolis - 630PM

Saturday - Mead Hall - 12PM Free tournament

Saturday - FFG - Late Night tournament, 8PM $5 entry, all goes to prizes.

Sunday - Universe Games - Noon - $5 tournament

Man... I need an IT job in Minneapolis! Of course, I would have d.i.v.o.r.c.e my bride of 20 years, cause she would never go for the cold. She loves the summer sun in Texas. I miss snow... what can you do? I would say "play X-Wing" but alas, I still don't have that here... who was it that built that starfield of dreams?
