Trying to build a solid Rebel List.

Hey guys,

I've been having trouble trying to find a solid Rebel list that has good options and fun to play. I have an Imperial List that I enjoy now. But that isn't what I'm dealing with.

I'm trying to build using what I have but I almost feel as if I will need to buy more ships. But as of now. I don't have that option.

My Rebel ships are the following:

K-Wing

A-Wing (x2)

Y-Wing (×2)

X Wing (x2)

B-Wing

I have the YT-1300 and 2400 but I'm trying to build without them to see what I can come up with. Right now it's squat.

I'd like to grab another A-Wing and a few E-Wings in the future. But I'm dealing with what I have.

Any ideas?

A-wings are certainly solid. Y-wings can be kitted out as torpedo boats or turret carriers. B-wings seem a little weak at the moment although there are some neat tricks that can be done with the named pilots. X-wings are definitely sub-par and are totally outshone by the T-70 equivalents. The only X-wing pilot to see regular play is Biggs as he makes great protection for your more important ships. E-wings are pretty weak too apart from Coran. I would not hurry to get one unless you really want to do something specific with one.

Do you have any ideas in terms of what you would like to run?

I do love the A-Wings. I intend on getting another for sure. Perhaps in the Aces Expansion.

So say if I use A-Wings with some Y-Wings. What would you suggest?

I'm assuming you don't have the title cards or refit since you said the aces pack might be your next buy. Not sure if you have Guidance Chips with your other purchases, but they aren't necessary for this build (although they do help). Low PS, but allows you to buzzard with the Ys and arc dodge/block with the As. I tried to use cards I know you would have with what you posted above. At least it would give you a starting point to go with.

Raven's list is good. Once you get the Aces pack you will be able to experiment with Chaardan refit and a second EPT which opens up some interesting options (although I do like Prockets).

Arguably, if I get Autothrusters. Would they be good in place of anything on the A-Wings?

Yup, Autothrusters are great on A-wings, particularly if you are not taking missiles and hence do not need Guidance chips.
