Answer copied and pasted from the thread where you asked the same question yesterday as part of something else and where I put the answer:

If you do go with it and equip a possessed item then you will have to battle for control against a daemonic item which is generally an opposed Willpower test with yours versus the daemon within the item, the value and relative chance of success with this will vary as it depends what the GM put in it. If you're lucky it'll be a minor warp entity and you should have a good chance of success. If you win then you bring it under control indefinitely so long as you maintain consciousness while wielding the item or your willpower does not drop to below that of the daemon within (or any lower than if already less) as in such cases the daemon may try again to assert control. If it is successful in the opposed test then it may make a possession action and use you as per the Possession Trait (BC Core Rulebook p142) and use you for its own ends until purged from you and will invariably have consequences such as (but not limited to and may be changed at the GMs discretion as thematically appropriate), permanent ability score damage, corruption and/or insanity points, mutations etc as well as any social consequences or winding up NPCs and own group.

tl;dr version:

1 - Risk of possession by a daemon within the item itself if you fail to beat it in an opposed willpower test. The consequences of this will be up to the GM as well as the effect of possession.

2 - Lessening the risks, GM may allow ways to nullify the daemon or you may want to banish the occupant from the weapon in a ritual but there may be consequences.

Thanks for awnsering i now gotta plan for what i should do with any future possed items. Maybe give it to another party member and watch as they get screwed over

I might be wasting my time, but does your PC know about the nature of possessed weapons? Does he have related lores or knowledge applicable to their effects? Might be worth asking your GM if you're not sure.

My warpsmith who i am alligning to Nurgle has Forbbiden lore Daemonology so that wont do much BUT we do have a thousand sons scourer in our party how much would that help?

EDIT: We have only had 2 sessions so far and i will get forbidden lore Archeotech due to that i will need alot more points in both Archeotech and Daemonology for i am gonna make lovely lovely blight drones in the future.
