Bossk Article!
Is every agenda card now just discard/put away after each mission?
Simultaneous ISB article!

Join us next week for a preview of one of the galaxy’s most feared bounty hunters: Bossk!
Someone at FFG ****** up bad.
Yeah: I would have expected these articles in the last week or so. Weird that they held them and then dumped them after we saw spoilers.
ISB was supposed to come out end of last week or beginning of this week.
But in general, I think all the articles got put on the back burner, but now the set is out tomorrow, they had to recover quickly.

Does anyone know if Bossk's side mission requires Bespin Tiles?
Does anyone know if Bossk's side mission requires Bespin Tiles?
Generally all figure expansions that tie to a boxed expansion need the boxed expansion for either the campaign or skirmish map or both, so expect that for Bossk as well.
I know that we've been aware of the details of Bossk for a while but I just want to say: of all the villains, this is the one I'm actually wanting to get and use. He offers different tactical options and is decently beefy and cheap
Plus he doesn't depend on surges for damage so Leia can just die.

His mission takes place on Toydaria, so unless it requires some Bespin tiles (which would be weird) the side mission shouldn't require the expansion. Even then, you could probably jury rig somethign up with all the other other tiles we have these days.

cheers. Im not interested in the bespin expansion. but bossk is too pretty to ignore
Don't get too excited, its still possible it might require tiles from the expansion. They are double-sided after all.
But I understand your pain... I wanted to get the ISB infiltrators along with RTH.
Edited by patrickmahanI wish IG88 were as good as Bossk.

If he was reduced to 8/9 pts he would be.

That is actually a great idea, I never thought about that before.. some of the expansion pack side missions only use 1 or 2 tiles from that expansion, you could definitely rig something up with another tile even if its remotely close it won't throw off the whole balance of the mission. The ones that need say the cantina tile from Twin Shadows, ya ok you are screwed, but one random set piece is easily home brewed.

Toydaria has some fancy cities (or at least it did during the era of The Clone Wars) so Bespin tiles for the interiors aren't out of the question...

No matter what there is a way around it, hell make up your own map! Or just use another villains map and throw Bossk on there instead. Pretty simple ways to get around the map tiles. I've done it before without losing a thematic step, just takes some tinkering on your own time.
Curious here about On The Hunt

So hypothetically you could activate a figure in Jyn's LOS, wait for her to suffer the 2 strain to use Quick Shot, then exhaust this to move around a corner/out of LOS before she gets to attack? Then she is forced to attack something else and if she can't then her QS is wasted for that round and she is short 2 strain? Obviously Trick Shot would make this harder, but still interesting.
I think the strongest play here is when someone is straining to get in LOS of you or within melee range, but still another fun way to foil Jyn's Quick Shot plans! It does seem powerful so a one mission use seems fair. I would LOVE this as a 4 cost class card.
Edited by FrogTriggerSo my standard Trandoshans are yellow and my elite are orange. Now that I'm getting Bossk, I need a different color, what do you recommend?

Hmmmm. Well, that’s your opinion, man.

khaki/tan maybe? It could give you a close approximation of his suit color without matching your other figures.
That's why I purposefully avoided yellow/orange on mine as I was pretty certain we'd get him eventually.

Sadly it doesnt work with quick shot as quick shot is triggered during your activation and therefore you get the movement points during your activation and they go into your movement point pool and aren't an interrupt ability. BUT you could do that move to get ouf Bivs Close and Personal or Garkhans Charge or move away if Gideon orders someone to attack.
Ahhh right good catch, didn't even think about it.
