1 / 20 xp is a really fast growth. The wookiepedia entry says they get stronger as they age, not as they obtain experience.
Unless he is somehow 20 thousand years old as to have more health than a Sil 5 vehicle.
IMO, such aging mechanic shouldnt even be reflected in the game, as many games dont last long enough for characters to age.
If you want to keep that mechanic, i advise to increase it to 1/100 instead.

I know, but I like the general idea. But maybe it's best to ditch it!
Rather than adding to Wound Threshold, maybe allowing them a Resilience roll to stay conscious. They'd still take criticals, but that's still a plentiful boost for a system like this.

How about this: Whenever you exceed your wound/Strain threshold you may make a avergae(dd) difficulty resilience check, if you succed you may stay conscious. Per each success recover 1 wound/strain, spend 2 Adv. to recover one aditional wound/strain, if you exceeded your wound threshold, you still sufder a critical injury.
These ideas sound like already existing Talents, like Hard-Headed, or whatever.
I’m AFB at the moment, so I can’t quote chapter and verse, but before creating a new power/talent, you might want to do a bit of research on what is already out there.
