I've been taking a bit of an x-wing hiatus for a month or two - even cancelled my place at regionals - so my finger hasn't been on the pulse lately, but before I took a break, BlackCrackSwarm was looking well set to become a thing.

I've not seen much discussion on this - but I have been out of the game for a while as I said, but with Imperial Veterans getting ready to drop I'm wondering if there might be a usurper to the BlackCrack's throne already waiting in the wings - the Crackshot Gamma Veteran - aka the BombCrack

1 point higher in PS - great jousting dial - double the hull - and you can fit 5 in a 100pt squad

no thrusters/boost from the A-wing variant either

The Gamma Squad Vet is two points more than an Omega Squad TIE/fo. It has an extra point of PS and 2 more hull but it has a worse dial and a point less agility. I can't see spending the extra points for the bomber.

If you were doing something cool with crew or bombs I could see putting one or two of them into a list, spamming them seems like a no go.
