Acrylic Templates: Where to get'm?

By Vineheart01, in X-Wing

Anybody have a good site for a USA delivery for acrylic templates/tokens?

All i can find are obscenely overpriced ebay offers (upwards of 60+ for just the movement templates and no divided range ruler) or overseas websites that have a heft shipping price. So far the best ive found is Cogotwo even if it is overseas.

Before i dump closer to $100 on an overseas vendor, can anyone suggest a good one within the USA?

likto templates and applied perspectives tokens

Team covenant.

You can even go wood.

Or litko

I got mine from www.appliedperspectives.com Shipping is fairly cheap and they make great stuff. They're based out of Minnesota.

Litko.

Do yourself a favor and get these excellent ones from CurledPawCustoms on Etsy.

When I ordered from the German site I don't remember shipping being much different than the US companies.

I love these as they are so much better than the boring monochromatic ones.

If looking for ANYTHING acrylic, yeah, I'd say Team Covenant or Litko.

If looking for official FFG acrylic templates (IE., things people can't refuse to let you use in a tournament)...well, yeah, it's just overpriced eBay stuff. Because obviously - it's very-limited-run official stuff usable in tournaments. So...supply/demand things going on, there.

Team Covenant is the only way to go. You can get matching maneuvering as well as range rulers in the same color, and even segmented range rulers. And they have great acrylic other tokens as well.

I would hardly say the only way to go....

Holy crap blue-nebula effects. Ok thats not fair, blue = favorite color and i love nebula effects.

Only issue is it seems to be unable to change to English. Drat, was hoping to do some of this during downtime at work lol i might have to wait till i get home and use translators.

Yeah, my friend got those. Even if paying a little more for shipping, those guys are really worth the price. I haven't checked compatible prices, but when I bought a while ago the price for those templates were about the same price as all the monochromatic movement templates from US vendors. I remember thinking why would I spend the same cash on templates with one color when those bad boys are out there? I got the multi colored ones as I thought I would learn to find the different templates quicker as I would figure out which were which. It didn't work, but they still look cool.

Applied Perspectives is awesome! I love my mirror finish range set.

Litko is easy and a bit cheaper than TC but it really is up to you.

I would recommend that if you find something called Greenman Designs you stay away until he catches up on shipping orders.

I got a set from Art of War studios because I liked their design and they had a reasonably priced set that included various tokens. With currency conversion and shipping it was still competitive with the domestic sites.

I might have to shell out the extra bucks for those. Before factoring in shipping its about ~10 bucks more than cogotwo for all i want (also after bombs) but wow those are beautiful. Im guessing shipping would add another ~15 bucks, since thats "average" for overseas packages.

Sucks that i'd have to wait about a month to get'm but ... BLUE NEBULA! lol

Another vote for Applied Perspective here. I've had a set of their templates for four years and don't leave home without them.

I love me my applied perspective radiant templates and their premium mirrored shield tokens. But I was less than amazed with their other tokens. I'm excitedly looking forward to my new tokens from https://www.etsy.com/shop/CurledPawCreatives

Yeah the lack of good tokens pushes me away from applied perspective. Movement templates are obviously the main thing im after but i also want other things.

I love my bombs, so i'd love to snag an acrylic of them. I routinely run a bomber that puts clustermines in a chokepoint :D

I will second the opinion on the curled paw shop from etsy. great price and quality, wuick shipping and great customer service.

They're like a millimeter off though. Just got mine last week and they are a little longer than the cardboard ones. Love the look of them, but it really bothers me that they aren't precise.

I got the "space fighter" brand on Amazon. Around $20. Love them

Edit: I have the "resistance" ones

Not worried about people being that much of a prick about it since i dont goto any major tournaments, only local ones. Theres 20+ people here that are active and some are the intense tournament type, but none of "that guy" around here.

Very happy with KrakenSkulls so far, I've bought both wood and acrylics.
